I read yesterday that the members of the jury were sick and crying over the decision they had to come to. Why didn’t they just give her a hung jury so she would have to be tried again?

Yep. I bet they were just heartbroken. What a load. This BS is an attempt to protect them. There are a lot of extremely angry people out there over this verdict and some may be capable of violence.

Maybe because they were doing the job that was assigned to them, judge her on the case presented. It is never good to say, well the government screwed up so let's just give them a second bite at the apple.
