My fellow Americans, in regard to the U.S. presidency, please tell me we are over "the black thing." Can we move past race and gender and simply elect the best American for the job?
Due to liberal media manipulation and guilt, America elected an incompetent black guy as leader of the free world to prove that we are not racist. Obama's black skin has made him untouchable, the left's dream tool to further their socialist agenda. Once America gets over "the black thing", will the liberal media demand we elect Hilliary to prove we are not sexist?
How long will it be before the liberal media demands that we elect our first openly gay/lesbian president to prove that we are not homophobic?
I believe that the novelty of a black guy in the White House is over -- been there, done that, got the historic Obama (false) Hope & Change t-shirt.
I hereby proclaim the season of Presidential Affirmative Action over!

He’s half white and I don’t like either half.
The novelty of the first black president being over will cost Obamarx 3-45 in every demographic group except for the black community who would vote for him if he murdered Steve Harvey on live TV.
He's way too red.............
That was supposed to be “3-4%”... not enough caffeine yet...
There was an NPR article yesterday about how the phrase “that’s racist!” is becoming more and more of a punchline.
They didn’t get it completely, though. They still don’t understand that their main technique used to silence opposition is crumbling before their eyes.
I'd like to believe that's true, and I sure hope you're right.
I don’t care if the next president is blue or purple, if he can move America back to it’s founding principles, he/she will get my vote.
I was never in to the “Black thing” to begin with, I am 68 and have witnessed the “black thing” in American cities ,in the Congressional Black Caucus in Congress,in the NAACP, in Jeremiah Wrights Church,in the riots of 1968,, in working at jobs that do affirmative action hires, and in many African countries, and have yet to see anything I like about it.
God bless Lloyd Marcus. We need more men like him to be ambassadors to the black community.

Very well put. Mirrors my experience precisely. Incompetence promoted over competence does not turn out well.
Why do people continue to omit the ‘Link’ url?
If you will notice .. where it says “excerpt” .. read more at ...
That is where the link should have been!
Yea, that’s a better way of putting it for sure!!!
Methinks your browser or computer is fooling you, it’s right there where it should be.
I think Herman Cain has the moral strength to be capable of taking the “black thing” by the horns and setting it straight. I can see him asking America as a whole whether it wants to keep picking cotton under slave conditions on the Democrat plantation, or wants to be free. And it would make lots of sense. And liberals’ heads would explode like Civil War cannons.
The link is up at the top — scroll up, or get rid of whatever window is covering it.
If he were John McCain or Joe Biden? He'd be toast.
