- he is so-so on immigration/borders, talks tough and does some good things, but also put in instate tuition for illegal aliens; but so-so from a conservative perspective must be viewed in the prism of the Texas leaders hispandering in a state where the majority of babies born are now hispanic

Will he or won't he give us amnesty?

no, he wont. he will be anti-amnesty. and he will at least fund and secure the borders.

He's never talked about amnesty. He's talked about, border enforcement in the context of cartel violence. He tried to end sanctuary cities in TX by adding the bill to the recent special session after it failed in the regular session.

To my knowledge he's only ever mentioned a renewable 2 year worker visa program requiring a background check, taxes paid and incarceration or deportation for criminal acts. Citizenship has never been on the table in contrast with W, McCain and the rest.
