Lazy bunch of slackers. They wouldn’t take the time to reason out what was believable and what wasn’t.

Maybe the judge should have told them explicitly that cause of death is not vital to a guilty verdict. As time passes details slip away. They let her off because the ‘Demon Spawn’ bought enough time.

The Manslaughter charge only required that she was associated in the death not responsible for it. She was that.

Could have gone with a hung jury then. At least the case could have been re-tried later on...Whatever...nation of idiots, arrogant shmucks abound and everything is upside down in this topsy turvy society.

They were sequestered. I've been to DUI court (with a family friend who fortunately got a good lawyer) and they had MORE people there than in that Anthony trial.

That's not "sensationalism" ~ that's what you watch on the TV talking head shows. This knowledge is evidence of juror misbehavior. We need know only how widespread it was.

Are you playing the man vs. woman card?

IN SPADES, CHAMP.

The evidence was not overwhelming, you don’t know the whole story, you were not in the court room, you got all of your info from the media...just let it go.

Unless you were a juror, you're limited by the same restrictions you just stated. So why are you so sure of yourself? Or are you suggesting that no one should have any opinion, and we should just presume that we simply cannot think at all, and must be told by our betters what things mean? (except you, of course)

The jury has ruled. Hopefully you get an open-minded jury when you are charged with a crime.

The jury is WRONG. Obviously wrong. Openly wrong. Demonstrably wrong. There's been a GROSS miscarriage of justice, and it's plain to tens of millions of people, not just me.

Hopefully if you're ever arrested, you'll be able to lick the necessary jackboots shiny enough to keep from being charged with a crime.

Your demand for cringing obedience and self-abnegation is hereby REJECTED.

You are so right. You put all the pieces together and unless you’re dumber than ditch water, you’ll come to the conclusion that Casey Anthony is a lyin’, cold-blooded killer. HELLO???

I’m sorry people don’t believe in jury trials any more. we should have just skipped the trial since you and the media are so certain of her guilt.

Casey Anthony is a repugnant woman who will probably be dead in five years. She won’t be missed.

But she got her day in court, as all Americans should be entitled.

I hope the burden of proof continues to rest with the state before the liberals and media mob eliminate due process.

That was an incoherent post, but I’ll reply anyway.

I’m not saying she’s innocent. She’s probably guilty. Wasn’t proven.

So, again, if you are ever charged with a crime, I hope your jurors are more respectful of innocent until proven guilty than you are.

>>But she got her day in court, as all Americans should be entitled.<<

One thing you are overlooking. We as Americans have the right to speak out when we believe there ha been a travesty of justice.

Sorry it bugs you so much, but deal with it.

There is a saying which covers this, better a thousand guilty men go free than one innocent man be convicted of a crime he didn’t commit.

You got that right. If that baby were in their family tree, or in their neighborhood, they wouldn't have spent only 10 hours, 45 minutes, and 33 seconds on a case like this. These wimps didn't have the intellectual stamina nor the internal value of human life that required their due diligence.

Wonder if the prosecution should have gone for the negligient homicide lesser charge....what sane mother lets a kid disappear for a month without reporting it. That alone is BIGTIME as circumstantial evidence it would seem.

Look, this wasn't a case where Casey was charged with walking down the street and doing a snatch and grab on sombody else's kid and then killing him or her.

She starts out with CUSTODY of the kid. She loses the kid somehow, parties for a month, and finally tells a lie about why the kid is missing 31days later at the prompting of her mother.

That's a lot different.

Because of the custody and possession aspect of the case we necessarily treat Casey's statements a bit different than those of someone who was just a stranger.

People who have kids know these things intimately. People without kids find it incredible we might hold a parent accountable for their own child's whereabouts.

She's guilty ~

More nonsense. Why do you keep saying this stuff?

"I’m sorry people don’t believe in jury trials any more. we should have just skipped the trial since you and the media are so certain of her guilt."

Nobody is saying that. That's not the point. We have every right to disagree with a jury verdict. That doesn't equate to throwing out the system.

"I hope the burden of proof continues to rest with the state before the liberals and media mob eliminate due process."

Again, who had the burden of proof is not the point, and no mob is trying to eliminate due process. All that's happened here is that a particular jury in a particular case was incredibly stupid, and the public recognizes it.

Speaking out about it is one thing.

Threatening jurors is another. It threatens the whole system.

I prefer a country where the state has to meet a great burden for conviction.

Otherwise, liberty loving folks like us (Christians, Tea Partiers) will be the first to be locked up.

> Casey Anthony juror Jennifer Ford said today that she and the other jurors cried and were “sick to our stomachs” after voting to acquit Casey Anthony
Then *why* did you vote that way? Good grief.

Are you joking?

They all knew 2 essential things.

Casey Anthony was complicit and guilt of SOMETHING.

The Government did a $#!tty job of PROVING the elements of the convictions they DECIDED to seek.

BLAME THE APPROPRIATE PARTY.

It was a big mistake for the prosecutor to go for the death penalty charge. That became too much of a distraction and an obstacle.

That’s the vibe I’m getting.

Nancy Grace and the mob had this woman convicted before she stepped into the courthouse.

The jury sat in the same room with her, took measure of her, listened to the evidence, and still had doubts.

I’m just looking at the big picture.
