July 6, 2011How many months of man-hours did Florida police spend searching for little Caylee Anthony back in 2008, while her mother, Casey Anthony, knew exactly where the child's body was?
If you were the victim of a crime in Orlando, Fla., between July and December 2008, you should be enraged that the police couldn't prevent or investigate your crime because they were too busy looking for a missing child whose mother already knew the kid was dead.
It's a zero-sum game with police resources. Cops combing through the woods searching for a missing child are not going to be patrolling your street or arresting suspects.
From repeat domestic violence calls to Los Angeles car chases, hit-and-run drivers and the balloon-boy hoax, worthless louts consume vastly more law enforcement resources than the rest of us. Cops in any town will tell you all the domestic violence calls come from the exact same homes, over and over again.
As long as we're looking for new revenue streams, how about billing these white trash low-lifes for their massive consumption of police resources? The dregs of society need to be assessed a fee for their abuse of government services and thrown in debtors prison in the unlikely event that they can't pay.
As I described in my last book, "Guilty," the leading cause of all social pathologies is single motherhood. One way or another, Casey Anthony's refusal to give up Caylee for adoption was going to cost society -- and cost Caylee.
The statistics are so jaw-dropping that not giving up an illegitimate child for adoption ought to be considered child abuse.
Various studies have shown that children raised by a single mother comprise about 70 percent of juvenile murderers, delinquents, teenaged mothers, drug abusers, dropouts, suicides and runaways. Imagine an America with 70 percent fewer of these social disorders and you will see what liberals' destruction of marriage has wrought.
This is so absolutely true, but it's becoming difficult to mention it even in "conservative" circles because single motherhood is fast becoming the norm. The truth is that this is sinking the country--to the point where I doubt it can survive for another generation.

A point of disagreement with her, that adoptive children are disinterested in their birth parents. I have helped some adopted children find their birth parents, admitted with mixed results, but in all cases, it was an intense desire to “know” about their birth parents.
I came up with a technique, that when I had a lead on a possible birth parent, to notify them in a non-threatening manner, which would give them the option to follow up or not. A simple postcard, that said that the adopted person *might* be their child, and would like to contact them for “medical reasons”; and if they were interested, they could contact the adopted person at a phone number. If not, do nothing.
The least successful case was interesting, in that the birth father did contact the adopted son, oddly and honorably enough, to let him know that his father was a worthless reprobate, who would have been a truly rotten father. He even met with his son, and convinced him that he was far better off with his adoptive parents. After the meeting, the son thanked him for his honesty, and agreed with him.
The most successful case was of an adopted girl living far away from home, and horribly depressed to the point of committing suicide. She knew her birth mother lived near her adoptive family, and after her friends had taken up a collection for a bus ticket home, literally as she was getting on the bus, I handed her the name and address of her birth mother.
Once she was home, with her adoptive parents, she contacted her birth mother, and her world was changed. As it turned out, her birth mother was only 16 when she had her, and was *forced* to give her up for adoption, and had suffered about her lost daughter ever since.
She had married, and had two more children, now both adults, yet had always pined for her lost daughter. Reunited, the adopted daughter said that she now had two mothers, as well as a new brother and sister, and in the course of a few months had gone from Hell to Heaven, and met her mother there.
Her adoptive parents were thrilled for her, and she and her birth mother would spend hours hugging each other, at first through tears, but then as two souls reunited.
As I lean more and more from Conservative to libertarian in my old age, I find your comment most perplexing. In full disclosure, I when I disagree with librarians I usually find their economics is wrong, not there libatarian values.
A pure libertarian would say that the problem with single moms being a burden on society is that government offers assistance it shouldn't. So the problem is not Single motherhood, it is socialism. If you want to keep your illegitimate baby out of a twisted sense of self worth- fine, but don't expect others to pay. I bet the illegitimate rate would drop pretty fast.
So you are telling me that she knew that the kid drowned and that she was dead, but had absolutely no idea how the body ended up in an area where she would dispose of her dead pets. She was willing to tell some of her “story” (the drowning), but she she did not want to finish it.
She is a compulsive liar(and proud that she could lie so well according to her boyfriend) and decided to tell the truth in court when her life truly depended on it? Don't think so.
I don't doubt that her parents are liars too(she learned it from somewhere) and that they are the biggest enablers on the planet of all of her idiotic and immature behaviors. However, I do not believe that they had anything to do with Caylee’s death. Caysey owns this crime. Nothing, and I mean nothing that has come out of her mouth is the truth. She lied to her parents and friends for years about her supposed job at Universal studios. She is diabolical.
I didn't need to listen to the talking heads on T.V. to make me feel this way. Just my common sense. Just for the record, I never watched any of the shows about this. Never!

I worked in the juvy court system for 5.5 years and noticed an awful lot of those kids came from never-married couples. Ann’s right.
More evidence than that. Dead smell in the car, partying like no tomorrow, including getting tatoos, failure to report a missing child. She is guilty and the jury needs to have their heads examined. The mother admitted to knowing the child drowned, if that is the case than she did know where Caylee was lying dead. This murderous mother should be awarded the liar of the century medal.
Now that Casey is free she can get a book deal, earn some money, and hire an army of private detectives to find the REAL KILLERS!

There is a difference between a libertarian and a liberaltarian.
A liberaltarian wants a life of immoral decadence and is generally opposed to traditional values. But they also want tax cuts.
You know something? You are spot on! My child is “only” 13, and to me, that seems like a blink, but a lot does happen in those years. In this State that both Coulter and I share, it seems that single mothers on handouts with multiple “baby daddies” or abortion, is just more accepted.

The liberal jury gets credit for a twofer: (1) A vote against the death penalty and (2) Support for late term abortions.
