And yet it was Franky Schaeffer’s book (that’s how he called himself then), I think “A time for anger, The Myth of Neutrality” that swayed my position to the Pro-life camp forever in the mid-80s. I read a few of his books back then so I’m not sure exactly which it was.
I have seem this line in many westerns (paraphrased)
I’ve seen good men do bad things, and bad men do good things....
Don't know the full story. There has been speculation online that he got ticked off that Dad never paid enough attention to him.
Apparently it's been going on quite some time. Too bad he didn't learn to FReep when he was younger.
Oh well, maybe Ann Coulter will start dating him. She apparently loves romantic attachments to libs.
Cheers!
You just caused me to violate the 10th Commandment -- I am bitterly jealous I didn't think of that first.
Cheers!
Is this “Franky” Schaeffer, the son of Francis Schaeffer, the fonder of the L’Abri Fellowship in Switzerland?!? I think he was the director of the excellent video series “How Then Shall We Live” that Francis Schaeffer wrote and lectured in. If so, my how far this guy has fallen away from the sound teaching of his father.
Very sad. His dad was great.
Folks like this dude go way overboard in their condemnations. How can you take them seriously?
She found that libs are easier to get in bed than conservatives.
“But, I came to understand that these people actually hate the United States as it is.”
I think he is right. Compared to America from 50 years ago there is little to love today. In fact there is much to hate about current culture and attitudes.
Are you kidding? She *does* speak of being a Christian, and yet has dated libs. I hope she retained her virtue.
Cheers!
