An alternate juror in the Casey Anthony trials has said that he believes that Anthony was a good mother and that two-year-old Caylees death was just a horrific accident.
The sensational acquittal of Casey Anthony sparked outrage across the U.S. as angry spectators compared the trials outcome to the infamous verdict in the OJ Simpson case.
But Russell Huekler, one of five alternate jurors who were present for all the testimony and were sequestered with the 12 other jurors, said he would have given the same verdict and is stunned by the public anger.

Well explain to me how a jury acquitted a parent of aggravated child abuse when the mother did not report her missing to police and the child suffered great bodily harm and ended up wrapped in glad bags and duct tape in a swamp.
This is where your theory breaks down. Aliens from the planet Zanny abducted Caylee. The Alien from Zanny, code name "Moronbia", was actually a hideous looking creature assigned to Interplanetary Medical Examination Team 12B, but the Zannies have cloaking devices that make them look like heavyset Hispanic women. This Alien's job was to kidnap Caylee and perform medical studies on her, then frame the mother.
Well we could put the Jury, the Judge, The Defense Team, Ashton, and all the rest in a Boxcar and ship them to a “camp”, for some showers. Then we could burn the Witch without interference. Like Salem. Get the Joos!
lol
Well said! I agree that changing the system is a very bad idea and surly leads to tyranny. I do agree with the verdict because I think the State did not prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
Proving someone may be guilty just don't cut the mustard for me. Especially not in a capital murder case! (Oops, sorry about that! Do over?)

Mob rule? THere are LARGE segements of our country where the people lock the steel grates on their windows and doors at night. EVERYONE locks their doors at night, most with a dead-bolt.
Why? Because there is little deterrent for criminals anymore. The “wonderful spectre of our jury system in action” in this case WILL NOT DETER CRIMINALS.
Commmon sense is dying in this country. People want video tapes, signed confessions and DNA evidence before they will promounce anyone guilty.
Sorry I remind you of the Nazis. But NOT agreeing with what the state wrongly decides is the opposite of fascism. I wish no evil for the jury unless education and sense is an evil. I don’t even wish evil or capital justice (perhaps the same thing) for Casey. But I do believe, desperately, in calling a spade a spade. And this particular spade was anything but justice.
You are not due an explanation.

HAHAHA, keep up the stupidity.
LOL, apparently.
You’re dealing with an irrational idiot. But of course, I am only highlighting the obvious.
I bet a lot of Germans justified themselves in a very similar way. Sieg Hiel! Get em.
Are you retarded? Serious question.
Are you retarded? Serious question.
Because the prosecution did not prove that Casey Anthony knew Calee was missing or dead. Yeah, I know. It's ridiculous. Basically, 'getting off on a technicality'
Let's get this straight: I didn't say I agreed with the verdict - I believe that Casey Anthony is guilty of murdering her child. I simply stated that I understand why the jury voted to acquit. No more or less.
If she didnt want that beautiful child, why didnt she give her to me? Of course I thought of Mother Teresa.Awww, that's so nice. You know when Mother Teresa was giving her prayer breakfast speech in 1994, I was so struck first by the powerful words she used unflinchingly coming from her tiny frame, and next to the politically correct applause she was receiving [in effect she was calling them murderers] afterward by the Clintons, Gore, etc.
