I’m pro-life and I found the comment to be unnecessary.
All you seem to be doing is using buzz words - “stupid”, “too much”, and “unnecessary” don’t at all help explain what you think is wrong with Rush’s comments. I think he’s right on the money.
Unnecessary and stupid are two different things.
Rush says many things that are used as a bludgeon by the drive by media. He loves to poke them in the eye and see the hornets he has stirred up.
If one wants to say it was stupid of Rush to make this comment that is different than saying the comment itself is stupid.
When I heard Lisa Bloom, the clear context was that she though that Casey Anthony was guilty of killing her child because the child was an inconvenience and an obstacle to Casey living the life she wanted to live.
That is one of the justifications for abortion from the left. They claimed that all children would be wanted children and this sort of thing would be eliminated.
Though I imagine that the esteemed Lisa had no idea she was blowing that lie out of the water with her comment. She though she was making a good point for liberal abortion laws.
