(CNSNews.com) - Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D.-Ill.), who is the second-ranking Democrat in the Senate after Majority Leader Harry Reid (D.-Nev.), praised Rep. Paul Ryans (R-Wis.) willingness to work on entitlement reform, saying on the Senate floor Wednesday, I dont disagree with Paul Ryan saying we have got to look honestly at Medicare.
In this context, Durbin pointed to what he described as a need to "reduce the costs" of the program.

I smell a “Package” coming. I thought Obamacare reduced medicare 500 billion. Is this in addition to that?
Of course he doesn’t disagree - when talking. When voting, why that’s another thing altogether.
First, roll back the multi-trillion dollar boondoggle known as Obama-Kare.
Then fine tune the rest of the budget.

I agree, by killing obamacare that 500 billion taken from Medicare is a savings. They cannot say to put it back.
Consolidate agencies where appropriate, kill the rest.
Go back to 2007 spending levels.
Any stimulus money that left the US should be brought back.
Close freddie and Fannie and arrest their entire board of directors and confiscate everything they stole from those institutions.
