When Sarah Palins Going Rogue was released in late 2009, people around the country stood in line for hours to meet her at book signings, and to shake her hand and ask her to run for president in 2012. And this was after the MSM had spent nearly a year and half dragging her and her family through the mud, accusing Palin of every misdeed imaginable, and going out of their way to remind us how unprepared Palin was for the vice presidency (according to MSM standards of course).
From the release of Going Rogue through the November 2010 elections, Palin traveled to Tea Party gatherings around the country and endorsed candidates [3] (43 House candidates, 30 of which won, and 12 Senate candidates, 7 of which won). Following the elections she launched a reality show Sarah Palins Alaska that drew historic levels of viewers and teed liberals off something fierce because it showed Palin using a gun to kill a caribou, a club to kill a fish, and more importantly, using a weekly one-hour program to show liberals how to stand up and fight like a man.
And after the media trashed her for her Tea Party speeches, mocked the candidates she endorsed, and made fun of her reality show, she launched a bus tour that began with a DC motorcycle rally on March 29, 2011, wherein crowds of people gathered round her and begged her to run for president in 2012.
By the way, Palin also endorsed gubernatorial candidates in 2010, one of which was Republican Governor Rick Perry: a true conservative and thus a Tea Party favorite.
It was he who caused all the excitement at an Austin, Texas, Tea Party on April 15, 2009, when, after giving a speech criticizing the intrusiveness of the federal government, he added [4]: My hope is that America and Washington in particular pays attention. Weve got a great union. Theres absolutely no reason to dissolve it. But if Washington continues to thumb their nose at the American people, who knows what may come of that.
Although the MSM and liberal bloggers mocked Perrys tacit assertion of a states right to secede, he won re-election handily and is now serving his 11th consecutive year as Governor of Texas.
Under his watch, while some states have gone belly-up and others have gotten close to it, Texas has retained a $6 billion rainy day fund and has created [5] 4 out of every 10 jobs created in the United States during the period of June 2009 to May 2011. (Of course this isnt to say Perrys work has only bettered the Texas economy during the last two years: in December 2008 the Austin Statesman reported [6] that 1,000 people a day were moving to Texas from other parts of the country just to escape the taxes and regulatory red-tape found in so many other states.)
Ironically, today, both Palin and Perry are considering a presidential run in 2012. And while neither the former Alaskan Governor nor the current Texas Governor is showing their hand at the moment, you can be sure the MSM will be doing all they can to bring down either of them if in fact they declare their candidacy. Because of this, and because I really believe either Palin or Perry would beat Obama handily, Ive decided to hope for a Palin/Perry 2012 ticket (and Id be just fine with a Perry/Palin one as well).
If they pair up like this, one of them could be president for eight years, and then the other could be president for eight. This would mean eight years of tax cuts, job creation, and vigilant protection of individual rights (like those expressed in the 2nd Amendment), followed by eight years of tax cuts, job creation, and vigilant protection of individual rights (like those expressed in the 2nd Amendment).
Im serious folks Palin/Perry 2012: For 16 Years of Conservative Bliss.
(That Keith guy who used to be on MSNBC would simply come unglued if we could pull this off.)
You really think she’ll run with another RINO?
You’re obsessed with Perry, aren’t you?
“”Your tax burden was low before Perry which is really the whole point. He deserves some credit but hes hardly the savior some want to make him out to be.”” cripplecreek, today

Palin/rubio or perry/rubio is a guaranteed winner.
doubt perry would play second fiddle.
Let’s not put any man or woman on a pedestal.
Hussein’s cult does that—we must not.
(cough....cough....ahem...)
I don't know about Brer Creek, but I'd prefer Perry over the current pack of candidates.
But, I don’t want to vote for Perry, he’s just another Dem turned Republican, who is a RINO.
Gov. Palin is a conservative.
Not an open border Gardasil-promoting autobot like Perry.
Palin/Perry...
That’s my pick. (and I’m stickin’ to it)
Yes I trust Palin on immigration but not Perry...if folks are OK turning USA into Mexico...Perry’s perfectly OK.
How does this thread post put Palin on a pedestal?
You’re getting kind of slow, Diogensis, took you 10 posts to jump in. :)
That’s why Palin endorsed Perry.
She thinks Gardasil is awesome.
Palin/Bachman/Cain/Rand/Rubio
in that order as pres/vp
For 40 years of bliss
Palin / West a kick butt combo. We need a kick butt VP to clean the house and Senate too. I don’t see Perry as a kick butt character.
I sure hope not.
