WRONG!
SB1070 has officers check immigration status ONLY AFTER THE OFFICEr BELIEVES A CRIME IS BEING COMMITTED OR TRAFFIC LAWS HAVE BEEN VIOLATED.

I am for Rick Perry to become stronger on immigration and more like Arizona. The Arizona Governor actually tweaked her law after Perry made that comment. So, Perry rubbed me the wrong way with regard to this issue.
HOWEVER, with regard to this last legislative session, I thought he was going to hit a home run with his immigration bill, but it died in the house. Here is a link:
