They know she did it.
They did what they could get away with to help her, bc she’s their daughter, but there is a gigantic strain in that family and it won’t change.
She took Caylee from them, and they will never be the same.
Justice was not served, but I can't look at her parents as ‘victims’. There was only one victim in this case, a child. The parents were complicit with so many aspects of Casey's dysfunctional life, and this is a highly dysfunctional family.
so we get a LECTURE from the defense? and vulgar words....classy
<They know she did it.
Yup. And think - she’s accused the father and brother of molestation, the father of covering up an accident. Isn’t this guy still on the force? What the heck happens to him? Even if it doesn’t affect his job, what about the opinion of this friends, neighbors, and co-workers?
If I were the parents, I’d be going home to pack her bag and change the locks. Her crap would be on the doorstep and she’d have to find herself a new place to live.
I think it’s very telling that the parents didn’t go up to her in the courtroom. If my child had been acquitted of murder, and I believed he didn’t do it, you couldn’t keep me away from him after the verdict.
