Cindy did not see Casey during the 31 days, although she did talk to her on the phone. There was always an excuse — “the baby and I are at Tonys” and “we’re in Jacksonville”... etc and so on.
Keep in mind that they appeared to have a volatile relationship, apparently in regard to Caylee. As they (cindy and casey) had fought the night before, Cindy probably wasn’t too surprised that Casey took off for a bit.
It wasn’t until after the car was found that they panicked and stepped up the search for their daughter and granddaughter.
By all accounts that I can find, Cindy clearly loved that little girl. I don’t think she has any knowledge of what really happened, any more than we do.
I do find it odd that Caseys parents never took her to see an OB/GYN until she was 19 and already pregnant though. And mom Cindy is a nurse!
Perhaps that's where the Prosecution dropped the ball. I think that was the motive. To teach Cindy a lesson. Of course, if the State chose to go through the crazy psychological history of the Anthony family we'd still be sitting in the courtroom at Christmas.
My opinion is that both mom and dad know everything about Casey’s killing of Caylee. Her dad was a tough disciplinarian and a former cop and probably got her to confess; along with the promise that he’d take her confession to the grave. He prayed that his daughter wouldn’t be condemned to death, but knew that she was guilty as hell.
My two cents.
