Morning all, didn't see a thread for today so I created one.
I remember when the OJ verdict was read, I knew he would be found not guilty because of where the trial was at..it was turned into a race case, you add that with idiot Downtown LA jurors and I knew he would walk..but with Casey, I thought for sure that she would be found guilty of SOMETHING..even manslaughter, but to say she did not abuse her child..what the hell!!! But that is what happens in a society where its Ok to murder your baby in the womb, all Casey did was decide to abort her child three years after she was born, no big deal in the eyes of liberals..which I bet all those jurors were
yes, it’s here. will she confess as OJ has supposedly done? she can now, double jeopardy.
YES, as well as the damn attorneys!
Jose is now scolding everyone like Cheney just did.
What really gets me is that not a single one of those jurors was willing to hang the jury. Not one. I could understand a juror doing that, but not these acquittals.
Yes, all stupid.
She has to go thru the proceedures for release...but mostly she was found guilty....ta dum...of lying...to the officers...would equal about four years, which I said before would be the least she gets...and with three years already served,,,good behavior and all the other “freebees” they give. She might have less than a week to serve for lying.
So the state of Florida just paid a handsome fee for this gal to go free....Her attorneys were paid for by the state I understand.
I served on a first degree jury. The guy was found guilty. It was a death penalty case too. Of course, it was California and it was over 20 years ago. Oh, and the victim was a homeless drug addict thief. But, the murderer killed him and went to prison for it. Nowadays, no one wants to take the responsibility of stating the obvious and finding a criminal guilty.
oh, they dressed up for this.......they will be proud.
If you live in Florida and your two year old is acting up;
Tape their mouth shut{make sure it is tape from your tool box)
Hog tie them
Add some weights to the rope
Throw them in a canal
Go get a tattoo saying your life is better
Party and get laid for three months
Lie to the cops
Blame your parents
Feel relieved knowing that anyone selected for a jury in the US has an IQ of a claw hammer
Go Party Some More
RE: “Yeah, this verdict doesnt give me any more hope that President Obama wont have a second term.”

You’re correct — these jurors have to be Obama voters!

So, who did kill Caylee, Jose?!
I only watched the defense closing arguments and some of the prosecution arguments this past weekend, so I didn’t see the entire trial and hear everything that went into this...but based on what I did see, I honestly would have to say I was left with a reasonable doubt as to whether or not Casey actually did murder her. Casey is guilty...but of what exactly? What did the prosecution actually prove?
There was so much circumstantial evidence...so many conflicting stories, I don’t know...Also, there wasn’t anything to prove how the child died, so no one (except Casey and possibly her parents) actually knows what happened....so to me, it leaves doubt as to if it was an accident, or if it was murder, let alone, who did it.
Yes, everything about the scenario is suspicious. The lies, the behaviors, the parents and their stories....and Casey’s behavior was odd and completely wrong. Partying it up, while your daughter was supposedly missing/dead......very strange.
Dr. Ablow was on Fox giving his analysis, as a forensic psychologist, and I had to agree that if Casey was abused, and is mental (bipolar, etc), her behavior would make sense, and it wouldn’t necessarily mean she was guilty of murder. It would explain the lies, and he also added, someone who is on the extreme side of bipolarism, for instance, would make up the lie that she worked for Universal Studios. I mean, what a silly lie and far fetched lie to come up with...knowing it would be found out as soon as you get there. But that’s how bipolar minds operate...they aren’t rational or logical...doesn’t mean she’s guilty of murder, though. As he said, it could be a coping mechanism for losing her child (however way she lost her).
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not defending Casey. I am just on the fence as to what to think about her. I just am not one to be calling for her death or lifetime imprisonment.
It’s interesting to me, how everyone else though....all the news pundits, and most analysts, etc...were already judging her and making the call that she did it, etc.
I don’t know....just my $.02. I for one, would not have wanted to be on that jury. So many things to think about....and decide. And in their shoes, without emotion, listening to all the facts, all the issues, lies, stories, allegations, etc....I don’t think it was as cut and dry as some are saying, to be honest.
The jury had manslaughter as a choice though and rejected it.
Maybe OJ will help with the investigation after he gets out of prison...
Who would ever hire this lying little bitch? She’ll be sponging off the state forever. I hope she become a pariah just like OJ.
Cheney Mason is going to try and sue lawyers who were commentators on this case.
I’m in shock. Are we still living in America?
Not even MANSLUGHTER???????????
Sweet platitude but doesn't apply to her and there are plenty of folks convicted on circumstantial and other incriminating evidence besides the bloody hand as one poster calls it
Research it
He and Casey can get together after she gets out. They deserve each other. Two narcissists/sociopaths.
Oh, I wouldn't call them stupid. I'd describe them as being a bit overeducated and possessing an inordinately high regard for their own creativity and perspicacity. And no one gets points for creativity and perspicacity by going along with the conventional wisdom. Every good defense attorney ought to know that.
