Morning all, didn't see a thread for today so I created one.
No. I just recall reading something about it years ago but none of the details. I was hoping maybe retrokitten knew more.
Thanks for telling me. I’ve got it on, can watch for a while.
Not that I know of but his ex-wife Pam is starting to show up everywhere. I don’t know much about her but she said Rick disowned their adopted son because he was a liar and apparently was lying about Rick. Fascinating...even in an adoption it creeps out.
Also Pam said that when Casey was weeks old Cindy threw Casey in Pam’s face and said giving birth to her daughter Casey was the high point of her life or something like that. Then she said to Pam “Oh, that’s right, you wouldn’t know about that.” (paraphrasing here) Pam couldn’t have kids of her own.
For people who defend Cindy: THIS is the REAL Cindy.
I’d guess Hustler would be more her speed.
Can’t connect on the computer. Have to go downstairs to watch.
For sure!
Judge Strickland says he is "shocked" by the verdict. I'll take his assessment over those of the armchair quarterbacks on this forum who think the State screwed up.
Re Juror #3 NOW saying she's "just sick" over the verdict: "She may not get be the last juror to have buyer's remorse, but that's just tough luck."
I don’t specifically remember that post. I really just remember him saying how dysfunctional the entire Anthony family is/was. He said that no one said anything about her pregnancy to anyone in the family at all until right before the baby was born. Remember the picture of Casey in her 7th month wearing a turquoise dress and a white sweater? That was from his wedding. The whole family swore up and down that she was not pregnant even when directly asked and it being blindingly obvious to everyone with eyes and a functioning brain. He just went on about things we now know, Casey was a big liar, stole from her family, she was spoiled, etc.
Not that I have seen, but I’ve sort of been avoiding most of the coverage. It just makes me too ill.
I’m not sure though the verdict has been rendered- I’ll ask out legal begale what she thinks.
Would there be any remedy IF the jury deliberation was done with an eye toward the punishment phase rather than JUST the facts that go toward their finding of not-guilty or guilty?
Juror #3 made a statement that’s kind of disturbing:
Casey Anthony juror Jennifer Ford said today that she and the other jurors cried and were “sick to our stomachs” after voting to acquit Casey Anthony of charges that she killed her 2-year-old daughter Caylee. “I did not say she was innocent,” said Ford, who had previously only been identified as juror number 3. “I just said there was not enough evidence. If you cannot prove what the crime was, you cannot determine what the punishment should be.
Thanks for posting the link, GF!
Can you imagine the prosecution unleashing their data bases our way for 24 hours?
;)
Anyone watching HLN? Someone just reported that Casey had been offered a lot of money to do a triple x porn flick, but the company rescinded the offer because it was decided that NO ONE WOULD WANT TO WATCH IT, not even a porn flick!
1. Jennifer Ford, Juror #3, nursing student: ABC took her entire family to Disneyland yesterday.
2. Juror #6, a Chef in San Francisco who "has been making recipes for a long time," "will not entertain any media offers that do not include compensation."
3. Vivid Entertainment is withdrawing their porn movie offer to CA, and now "want nothing to do with her," saying they underestimated the volume of anger: "CA is not what people want to see."
That juror is already morphing/retracting her statement to make the “punishment” phrase more palatable. Hope it’s on tape.
Damn, if we had not been late to the party it would be all over except for the fryin’ LOL!
All she said there was that the prosecution did not prove the elements of the crime, that’s the appropriate inquiry. Secondly, it would be on the prosecutor to make any such argument, and I highly doubt anyone in that office would have the stomach to do so, given the monumental loss they just suffered. And even less likely that anything would come of it.
