The new headline: "Minnesota Shutdown Prompts Political Blame Game." And naturally the blame falls on the Republicans. The facts of the matter are that the Republicans did indeed provide funding for state parks and services, but the Democrat governor shut down the government.
Minnesota voters need to contact the governor and tell him to open the parks by approving the budget. The governor should resign in shame and disgrace for what he has done to the people of Minnesota.

So the governor's defensive approach is the same as every other administration...show the public how much it will hurt. So how about sending every other person home (for keeps)working in the state offices. Here's a list of departments to consider. I've removed those already which I don't think should be considered. Department of Administration
Department of Agriculture
Department of Commerce
Department of Education
Department of Employment & Economic Development
Office of Enterprise Technology
Department of Health
Minnesota Office of Higher Education
Minnesota Housing Finance Agency
Department of Human Rights
Department of Human Services
Department of Iron Range Resources
Department of Labor and Industry
Minnesota Management and Budget
Bureau of Mediation Services
Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission
Department of Natural Resources
Minnesota Pollution Control Agency
Department of Transportation

If you really want to shut down a state, have the private sector go on strike. That's when a state shuts down. Wouldn't it be lovely? After a week of government shutdown, the private sector does so for three days. Gosh folks, which one do you miss more???

"Again, the dynamic reaction to an onerous policy."The Dems truly do think that we are ALL on their plantation and will do exactly what they order with no unintended consequences. If we look at Soviet Russia or Cuba, we see where they are going: they are are just so blinded by their ideology that they cannot see the reality behing the Potemkin facade. The one collapsed in ruins and the other is a pauperized client of another oil producing Socialized state that is collapsing itself.

small business does not give enough campaign contributions so the democrats will punish small business.
