If you really want to shut down a state, have the private sector go on strike. That's when a state shuts down. Wouldn't it be lovely? After a week of government shutdown, the private sector does so for three days. Gosh folks, which one do you miss more???

Some 20 dollar signs that said, “ No rangers on duty, enter at your own risk” would have worked just as well and allowed the citizenry to enjoy their weekend.
