Yep, we'll have Former Vice President Walter Mondale in a Minnesota news conference today to tell us Democrat economics work.

The new headline: "Minnesota Shutdown Prompts Political Blame Game." And naturally the blame falls on the Republicans.

The facts of the matter are that the Republicans did indeed provide funding for state parks and services, but the Democrat governor shut down the government.

Minnesota voters need to contact the governor and tell him to open the parks by approving the budget. The governor should resign in shame and disgrace for what he has done to the people of Minnesota.

I came by several MN state parks yesterday the roads were blocked off. But a lot of cars were parked along the highway and many people were just walking around the barricades and going in.

I always like how the morons in the government always close parks and anything else that will inconvenience the public...rather than cutting their bloated benefits, salaries, perks and retirements. Fools! Shut down the stupid government for a long time. Totally.

So the governor's defensive approach is the same as every other administration...show the public how much it will hurt. So how about sending every other person home (for keeps)working in the state offices. Here's a list of departments to consider. I've removed those already which I don't think should be considered. Department of Administration

Department of Agriculture

Department of Commerce

Department of Education

Department of Employment & Economic Development

Office of Enterprise Technology

Department of Health

Minnesota Office of Higher Education

Minnesota Housing Finance Agency

Department of Human Rights

Department of Human Services

Department of Iron Range Resources

Department of Labor and Industry

Minnesota Management and Budget

Bureau of Mediation Services

Metropolitan Sports Facilities Commission

Department of Natural Resources

Minnesota Pollution Control Agency

Department of Transportation

Folks up north don’t need government bow-wows’ permission to enter a state park. Good for them !

Yes, this is the hypocrisy and the paranoia of the drug addict. He knows he is not competent, he knows he needs the rehab, he or she knows she or he needs a dog barking at their legs. They hate the private for enslaving them, but this is exactly what they need and want in the end. It's the old negro emancipation syndrome... but white racist democrates think they are not "negros", they are repulsed by them and by what it means. So, there you go, we have to have tact and PC, and maybe those little butt boyz will put a plug in it.

If you really want to shut down a state, have the private sector go on strike. That's when a state shuts down.

Wouldn't it be lovely? After a week of government shutdown, the private sector does so for three days. Gosh folks, which one do you miss more???

"Again, the dynamic reaction to an onerous policy."

The Dems truly do think that we are ALL on their plantation and will do exactly what they order with no unintended consequences. If we look at Soviet Russia or Cuba, we see where they are going: they are are just so blinded by their ideology that they cannot see the reality behing the Potemkin facade. The one collapsed in ruins and the other is a pauperized client of another oil producing Socialized state that is collapsing itself.

Some 20 dollar signs that said, “ No rangers on duty, enter at your own risk” would have worked just as well and allowed the citizenry to enjoy their weekend.

Isn’t that the truth! The state parks and then also, here in Arizona, the (formerly very nice) rest areas in scenic spots along the highways. How primitive is that to close the rest areas??? One of the few things taxpayers actually get to use, and for out-of-state travelers as well.

When we traveled through Texas, we were amazed by the spotless, numerous, and artistic rest stops.

When the teachers’ unions were about to get their “raise” (thanks to a higher “temporary” sales tax), the idiot AZ government reopened most of the rest areas. It’s such complete extortion.

So what will Democrats replace the Private Sector with?
When private capital is destroyed then what, no money for anything, more importantly there will be no Tax money to run and support the Government.
