PELLA, Iowa -- Last December, Michelle McCormick penned a letter to Sarah Palin, addressed it to her political action committee, and dropped it in the mail.
McCormick didn't harbor much hope that she would get a response, but about three weeks later she received a personal reply from Palin. Six months later, McCormick now spends every weekend in the nation's first voting state of Iowa attending GOP Central Committee meetings, collecting names of activists in counties across the state, and doing other volunteer organizing in advance of a Palin presidential campaign that she considers inevitable.

Last Tuesday in Pella, Palin had an opportunity to signal to those devoted volunteers to pack up and go home when asked by this reporter what she thought about their efforts. Surrounded by a crush of supporters and journalists on her way into the cookout, Palin instead replied that she "greatly appreciated" the efforts of volunteer organizers, especially because of their willingness to support someone who is "untraditional" and "not a part of the Republican establishment."

Bergman predicted that Palin would be the front-runner in Iowa "the minute she declares," which he expects her to do, in part to preserve her political brand that he says will die out if she instead sticks to the cable-TV and paid-speech circuit and lets down the devoted supporters who are counting on her candidacy.
"People are looking for someone who is leader -- someone who will take the fight on the issues to Obama," Bergman said before dismissing the idea that Palin would suffer from being perceived as unelectable. "A lawn chair could beat Barack Obama with 10 percent unemployment and $4 a gallon gas. That means Jon Huntsman could do it; that means probably anybody but Mitt Romney, because RomneyCare is so demotivating."

Oh, BTW she's running
:-D.
Your link goes to page 4 or the article — might want to correct that to start on page 1. :-)
Can’t wait ‘till she announces. I’m behind her 100%!
Before anyone knows it the holidays will be upon us, then the elections.
Even she'll need time to raise money for a campaign, traditional or otherwise.
Mods my apologize! Please change the link to page 1 of the article here:
What does feeling uncertainty has any to do with it? If somebody walks away because they felt that she took too long to announce and she does announce then if they stay away, I’ll bet they never supported her anyway.
Sarah Palin is a master compared to the others in retail politics, she also took the time to go to the outer remote regions in Alaska to get votes when running for Governor, she knows what needs to. I’ll bet that she’ll be weeks upon weeks going literally door to door, shop to shop, I find it rather silly how some buy into the notion that she won’t do the hard work that is necessary, that’s the dumbest bunch of bull I ever heard.
I don’t think that anyone who truly supports her feels the slightest uncertainty. I don’t.
Like me, I’m not anxious or uneasy about it - I read her books, I’ve read things about her a long time ago, she knows what she’s doing but it’s always done in a unconventional way, so I expect IT to look out of the norm of my comfort zone. I see it like a kid waiting for Christmas, one can’t wait for it to get here and wants time to hurry up
“If ever a time should come, when vain and aspiring men
shall possess the highest seats in Government,
our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots
to prevent its ruin.” - Samuel Adams
Patriots are working well away from the sight of the MSM to prevent this nation’s ruin.
???
can you elaborate?
Whatever day it will be, I expect the opposition to be noisy and nasty. The most effective move from our side will be raising enough money, quick enough, to thoroughly dispell the notion that we are a small minority.
So many think she has avoided appearing to run a campaign to avoid this.
Because her support will explode should she announce, I fully expect Romney or Bachmann (or Rollins) to file FEC complaints saying she has been running an illegal campaign below the radar.
No way. :) Even her former co-contributors on the FoxNews network have been unanimously convinced that she is simply not going to run for president. You just can’t fool that many professional journalists.
You’re joking, right?
I’ve also read where folks drove hundreds of miles from out of state to help volunteer. Dedication, and REAL grassroots work.
Darn! I must have forgotten the [/sarc] tag.
She’s not fooling them (or the LSM), they are busy making fools of themselves.
“The most effective move from our side will be raising enough money, quick enough, to thoroughly dispell the notion that we are a small minority.”
I fully expect that once she announces, that notion will be dispelled within 24 hours...or less. I predict that Sarah will break every fundraising record known to man.
