World temperatures did not rise from 1998 to 2008, while manmade emissions of carbon dioxide from burning fossil fuel grew by nearly a third, various data show.
The researchers from Boston and Harvard Universities and Finland's University of Turku said pollution, and specifically sulphur emissions, from coal-fueled growth in Asia was responsible for the cooling effect.

Which is very odd because all the liberal media said the temp has been going up every year. They wouldn’t be lying would they?

You realize of course, this nonsense is so the Chinese Communist pollution can continue, whereas we have to hobble our economy.
The whole thing is ludicrous because the Chinese are developing and passing us in pollution, and we are being asked to pay for their pollution control. Now their pollution causes cooling, because conservatives are balking at giving these “developing” countries money, so their pollution has to be explained away.

But see, most Asians aren't white, and NON-WHITE emissions are harmless, cuddly, and beneficial to Gaia. Furthermore, some of the worst polluting countries are collectivist strongholds, and no Marxist emission would EVER harm the planet!

When people try to argue AGW with me, I tell them it isn’t CO2, it’s the Clean Air Act that has caused the warming (if there is any)
Whatever the problem, man’s industrial activities and liberties are clearly the cause, and more government regulation, taxation and increased UN control are the only possible solution!

Why can’t we have Al Gore send the Chinese a bill for carbon credits? If the Chinese buy carbon credits, doesn’t that allow them to pollute all they want, based on the enviro extremist criteria?
So the facts coming out of Harvard University seem to be that we DO have global warming unless... we DON’T have global warming.
Yes, I can get my mind around that.
The laughs never stop with this fraud. So much so, they can’t get their stories straight. Now it’s air pollution that stopped global warming—so I guess it is supposed to get cooler and pissed off ice bergs are coming for us...LOLOL—I predict cooler temperatures in 3 months. How’s that for a prognostication?
