If Katrina had hit a majority white area the story would have been off the front page in a week.
The government sure has not done anywhere near as much for the midwest tornado and flood victims as they did for those hit by Katrina.
Why isn't the media screaming about this?
Why isn't Shep Smith standing on a devastated midwestern street with tears running down his face, crying about the poor victims?
Roger Kimball asks some good questions
A Tale Of Two Disasters - By Roger Kimble
Remember the hysteria the greeted Hurricane Katrina? The denunciations of George Bush and the Army Corps of Engineers? The round-the-clock charges of racism? The unremitting media consternation about government failure?Compare all that with the formerly mainstream medias response to the devastation wrought by tornadoes these last few weeks in the Midwest. In order to help you with the exercise, I pass along a few photographs from that unfolding horror, with accompanying questions that a friend sent me.
And does anyone remember the devastating Nashville flood last year? The MSM barely mentioned the worst disaster in Nashville history. Obama has yet to publicly comment on that disaster.
I’ll tell you, if the MSM and liberals don’t say anything about a subject, it’s as if it never happened.
Yes, as bad as Katrina was, what about all of other disasters which have happened, especially those in “red” states???????
A lot of it was MSM misinformation.
