In Brussels, last week the UN debated the creation of a new state to a group of crazed Arabs intent on killing Jews and calling it Palestine. These are the same Arabs who celebrated 9/11 by dancing wildly in the street while handing out sweets to the little kiddies.

What the heck is this push for a new state for the Palestinians about? Has the world gone totally insane? Is there a shortage of Arab and Muslim states surrounding tiny Israel who are bent on Israel’s destruction? Has the shortage grown so dire that we just need just one more murderous state to fill out the ranks of dysfunctional, hate filled Arab regimes? The Gaza Strip had previously belonged to Egypt and the Golan Heights belonged to Syria.

We need a new murderous Arab state? Who ever said we were one sandwich short of a full picnic in the Middle East? Another hated filled, terrorist supporting state? I don't think so.

While I fully agree with you there a several members of this site who think Bill and Wesley's great adventure was one of the glorious chapters in US military history and take great umbrage to remarks that cast aspersions on this miserable episode. I suspect they are former career military, especially USAF, officers who were involved in planning and/or executing the air campaign. It is impossible to get them to answer this question, “what vital or even significant US national interest was at stake in the Kossovo conflict ?” I hope some of these folks do read this post and try and answer that question. US military involved in the war with Serbia tend to be very defensive about their actions and quickly lapse into questioning the patriotism of anyone who asks critical questions. What these folks don't seem to grasp is that by virtue of the federal tax code all US taxpayers were made complicit in this war by virtue of our tax dollars paying for it. I and I like to think more than a few Americans deeply resent being made accomplices to murder by a morally reprobate chief executive and a sociopathically ambitious general officer.

No, the horrible Kosovo war did not enable Arab/muslim hatred for the Jews, nor for the Christians for that matter.

But it DID enable “Western” “human rightser” backers of the muzzies, who work to say that a “unilateral declaration of independence” by a muslim terrorist/subversive ministate is “legal”, and ought to be recognized by the US and other “right-thinking” countries!!!!

It is the muslim-”human rightser” combination that is most dangerous. Without the “human rightsers”, both Serbia and Israel could make short work of their muslim enemies in a matter of weeks, if not sooner!!!!
