All in the Family: Texas Gov. Rick Perry directs Willow Palin(carrying infant Trig Palin)as Republican veep candidate Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin arrives at San Antonio International Airport. Oct. 3, 2008.
To: Cincinatus' Wife
If Perry isn't serious, then somebody had better tell him quick! Especially since he is setting up for Iowa as we speak. Given his low name recognition compared to his favorable ratings, he is someone to be reckoned with when he does announce his candidacy. (Which may be this month.)

Turns out nothing happened, except she muffed the reason for Paul Revere's ride. Stopped reading right there. This makes the article nearly worthless imo.

Cynical people, think cynically, that’s why they keep saying (and wishing) Palin won’t run. All the while, they know and believe otherwise.

Truly, I had no idea how many clairvoyants are out there.

Just what is a hard right? With Harvard calling the 4th of July a right wing celebration, I suspect the “Right” is anyone not a dyed in the wool Marxist at this point.

The GOP is going to be serving up a big batch of Perry/Palin Kool-aid in 2012, guaranteed. The conservative masses will hail them as the Second-coming here to deliver America from Satan's helper, Barry Soetoro.
This is how that's going to play out for conservatives like it always does.

I think if Palin and Perry entered the race on the same day, things would get delightfully lively. :)

Actually, that would be a good thing.
Then, if we could Cain and Bachman to flip a coin and decide who gets to run, we’d be down to ONE conservatives candidate. Everybody endorses this one candidate, the conservative base gets behind them, and suddenly Romney, Huntsman, Gingrich and all the other RINOs are completely irrelevant.
Then its Obama’s turn.

Believe it or not, the Beaumont Enterprise is one of the most conservative (or least liberal) of the state’s daily newspapers. The author is the editorial page editor and he regularly castigates Obama and the libs. Compare the reporting and editorial page of this paper with DMN, Houston Barnacle, Austin Hatesman, and Express-Pews and there is a marked difference.
That being said, he is definitely no fan of Sarah Palin and he didn’t do fact checking on the Paul Revere deal. I’ll send him an email to go to FR and be sure and read what we thought about his stupid article.

Stopped reading after that idiotic line. Even some Democrats and at least three history professors have said Palin had it right.
