A former Adams County teacher is behind bars Friday night, charged in an apparent conspiracy to molest several teenage boys.
Police say this man was not working alone, there also was another man involved as well, and he lives in the area still. This pair would take trips together, anywhere from Pittsburgh to Canada and it is on these trips that the sexual assaults may have occurred.
Thursday night police arrested 61 year old John Curtioff at his Pittsburgh area home. That is where he has lived since he moved out of Adams County, where he was a teacher at the Upper Adams School District. He quit that job in 2000, however.
Curtioff was also working to teach Fish and Game Commission boater safety courses in the Pittsburgh area. Having a boat is allegedly what he would use to lure the boys to him. Police also believe he may have assaulted them on the boat when he took them out.
Curtioff reportedly worked with 33 year old Chad Starner, a former student of Curtioff’s, who has been in Adams County Prison since April on more than 200 related charges.
CBS 21 has learned these molestations occurred over a period of at least three years and also that there are likely several more victims in our area who have not yet come forward. Police want parents to pay attention to these names and say that if their children have had any interaction with them to contact police.

true. a story like this barely makes local news.
yet a story of an allegation against a priest from 20 years ago, makes headline news.
...certainly i don’t minimize those.
but even at it’s height, it was still less than what happens in public schools.
and for the past 10 years, the schools are orders of magnitude worse. yet is rarely even mentioned.
(and, schools are excluded from lawsuits, as have bankrupted entire parishes. it’s almost as if the MSM wants to protect schools, and destroy the church...)
Iam not an expert or have any knowledge of these sick minds but I think they honestly feel its OK to do what they do.
No they don’t quash stories they just give them the silent treatment. They reserve the real story time for other more important things like berating priests and preachers and painting with a broad brush the whole of Christianity.

The next move in the homosexual agenda will be obtaining the lowering of the age of consent. The coming propaganda barrage will be something to see. They are eagerly awaiting the harvesting of little boys.

Actually it was among the first list of “Gay Rights” agendas, removing the age of consent. It’s been one of their goals all along. But they realized early on they had to hide it until the public was “softened up”.
