Obama has no real American roots. He is at best, The Accidental American. Indeed, even if he was born here, he spent his formative years in Indonesia--clearly an end run around part of the Founders' intent, in requiring that you had to be Native born to be President. (The obvious assumption being that a native born American would be raised here, would understand the precepts of our society--indeed as second nature--and would defend, not sabotage, those precepts.

Yet more chilling, even than Obama's anti-American demagoguery, is the phenomenon so clearly demonstrated in 2008, by the enormous percentage of rooted American youth who openly supported--indeed to the extent of thousands chanting like 1934 Nazis in unison--in frenzied support of his vow to "change" America.

We have not only to defeat Obama--that will be meaningless, if we do not also win back the younger generation, those who have embraced the idiocy that Obama represents; the idiocy that he openly expounded, yet for which he escaped effective answer.

Almost sixty years ago, the then Head of the American Legion told Congress that the time for apologetic Americanism is gone forever. Yet except for a brief respite with Ronald Reagan, that is much of what we have gotten from our political leadership ever since. Enough is enough! Why should any proud American have even considered voting for Obama?

correct. Most people has no idea of the stranglehold the left has over American institutions. The left is pure evil and has as it's primary goal the destruction of our Republic.

Sometimes while contemplating the path towards a Republic as instituted by our Founders, I am left wondering if it can ever be attained through normal political means.

Conservatives and most individuals just want to "be left alone - live and let live." The evil left seeks to rule with an iron fist over others. The aren't happy unless they have everyone under their evil control. I doubt they will go peaceably into the night.

Charles Krauthammer did the math. If you eliminate the Obama-Pelosi-Reid Corporate Jet Tax Break, you would save so much dough that, after 5,000 years, you would have clawed back enough money to cover one year of Obama’s debt. Five thousand years is the year 7011. Boy, our kids’ll really be safe by then. I see some leftie at MSNBC has just been suspended for characterizing the president’s performance on Wednesday as that of a demotic synonym for the male reproductive organ. So I shall be more circumspect and say only that even being a hollow unprincipled demagogue requires a certain lightness of touch Obama can’t seem to find."

One of the first things that needs to happen is to end all federal funding of non-government organizations, even indirectly. Much of the groups on the left are funded by one government grant or other.

The United States federal government is as corrupt as any on the planet. Republicans by their complicity are just as responsible as the malicious Left.

The solution is to cut it. Cut it at least forty percent, its departments, its revenues, its budget, its programs, its employment. Return some of that government authority to local government, which still can be corrupt, but is at least accessible.

This is in fact in the nature of the US Constitution. It is the centralized US and global Media which perpetrates the phony image, the Matrix, of the US federal government.

If it's Romney, it won't be much of a difference. Heck, if it's most of the 'Republican' field, it won't be much of a difference. The only way that the 'Obama Era' will be over is if the opposing candidate openly says that the problem with this nation is Washington DC, and the state capitals, and the county commissioners and the city governments.

Anything short of open policy war against the drones of the more equal animals of government will simply extend everything Obama's done. It really needs to be a national movement - get rid of all 'benefits' for elected and appointed officials - No vacation days, no health care, no retirement packages - specifically eliminate the ability of an appointed or elected official to get unemployment benefits. You weren't 'unemployed', you were serving your fellow citizens, a temporary position which you volunteered for.

We have to end government by the government for the government. A concept that many in the Republican field find extremely alien.

By forcing Americans into dependence, we must both pay for and receive charity, especially zakat. To this extent that those among us will not do so, we shall be forced to pay poll taxes to the Muslim world as dhimmis. If we do not do that, we shall be put to death, as with ROE that require our guys to not shoot unless shot at or shoot at anyone in a burka, be this quickly, by 0bamacare, or otherwise through starvation via Agenda 21. My opinion/2 cents.

Big Government on America’s unprecedented money-no-object scale will always be profoundly wasteful (as on that Williamsburg flight), stupid (as at the TSA), and arbitrary (as in those waivers). But it’s not republican in any sense the Founders would recognize. If (like Obama) you’re a lifetime member of the government class, you can survive it. For the rest, it ought to be a source of shame to today’s Americans that this will be the first generation in U.S. history to bequeath its children the certainty of poorer, meaner lives
