Consumer financial Protection?
always give a big, bullying bureaucracy a nice name. It’s the Nice Name syndrome.
Glad to see this being blocked.
Next step; get rid of the Nice Name bureaucracies.
This is great news...
BTTT!
Hard ball. At long last.
Sweet, Conservatves at play.
Yes, it is...
You noticed whose playing hard ball...our Freshman Congressman...they still know how to play hardball...they haven’t gotten sucked into the DC ways.
Glad to see my congresscritter on the list!
Landry has to set himself apart. Louisiana lost a congressional seat in the redistricting, and he’s now in a district where he’ll have to run against incumbent Charles Boustany (R).

"Recess appointments are intended to maintain the continuity of our government during periods when the Senate is not in session. They are for situations when nominees cannot be considered or confirmed, not for political expediency. This isn't 1852; Congress isn't out of session for 4 months at a time; it doesn't take a week for members to come back to Washington."Zero's response will be, I don't need confirmation because this pro forma session blah blah blah...
God bless our conservative congressmen. They need our support.
I have frequently and vehemently attacked the nutless wonders known as the G.O.P. for some time now.
This is a move that makes me proud. And it is a long time in coming.

Hot doggies!!
If Boehner had half a brain, he would have been out front with this, calling a press conference to announce this action.
I didn’t know about it either...hadn’t seen it posted at FR....a friend in Louisiana told me about it last night.
This is the best political news I have heard since the November elections. I’m glad to see the new congressmen have some gonads and are prepared to stand up for the Constitution.
This is a wonderful moment. I hope they keep it up as long as they say they will.
Just fantastic.
Thank you for representing WE the People! Stand firm.
Yep, these freshmen haven’t been corrupted yet. It’s good to see three Georgia freshmen on that list. Of course my Rep. (Tom Price) is nowhere to be found. But then he did get the committee assignment he wasnted, so he does whatever the leadership wants.
I understand...but the leadership is involved in this too. They maybe quietly involved but they are involved.
