A few days after two senior aides in New England, the other shoe drops on Herman Cain in Iowa:
Herman Cains Iowa Director, Tina Goff, told TheIowaRepublican.com that she has submitted her resignation and is no longer working for the campaign. In addition to Goffs resignation, TheIowaRepublican.com can confirm that Kevin Hall has also left the campaign. Hall served as Cains Straw Poll coordinator.
Goff and Hall both worked on Fred Thompsons presidential campaign in 2008 and Iowa Governor Terry Branstads campaign in 2010. Goff stated that she resigned because the Cain campaign refused to make a serious effort in Iowa, the home of the First-in-the-Nation caucuses.
Cain spokeswoman Ellen Carmichael told POLITICO a few days ago that the New Hampshire staff would be replaced in short order. Cain has not yet released his quarterly fundraising numbers.
Looks like Cain is losing his toppings, he is turning into a cheese pizza.
Money is now knocking at the door. Cash is lining up. This likely means Herman Cain can’t pay a competent staff and they are peeling off. I hate it like everything, but Cain is a marvelous man with a huge future. God bless him forever.
The guy is in third place...with next to no staff!
Herman Cain is performing very well.
There is a slight chance that his first political office will not be as President of the United States, he may have to win election to an entry level job first.
Bummer, I hope this isn’t true.
Darn!
Darn!

I think the article says it all.
He Operates Clean & Lean, LIKE IT!
It’s a shame. Plus side is he’s doing well in the polls but it looks like his staff thinks he might have plateaued.
If he can’t make it to the GOP nomination, I’m hoping whoever the nominee is will be smart enough to include him in their cabinet. Secretary of Treasury or even Labor would be ideal places for him.
He would make a great VP. Likely the money is tight for his campaign.
Pray for America
It's Politico. No telling what facts they left our or fabricated.
Get lost.
You bash Sarah Palin and now Herman Cain.
I like the guy. I need more information but everything I have seen so far points to a solid contender.
If he drops out and throws his support behind Bachmann, Mitt is no longer the front runner.
Not bashing, he is losing his staff. More Happy Meal than all the meats at this point.
Cain is in trouble, you can’t be having money problems this early, the heavy serious campaigning starts after Labor Day and whether we like it or not, it takes money to keep a campaign going not excitement for an candidate,
