The NY town clerk was interviewed for 11:00 news, Syracuse NBC affiliate. She said although she does not wish to sign, she will sign the marriage licenses for gay couples, as it is her duty.

Yikes!

Pick one:

  1. She discovered she has no legal basis for objecting, and decided to keep her job. Or...

  2. She is planning to resign at her first reasonable opportunity. Or...

  3. They got to her.
Unfortunately, I fear the third is most likely.
