Nobody said anything about Sarah.

Ann didn’t defend Romneycare. She was clearly not in favor it. It seemed to me that she was outlining how Republican voters could justify a vote for Romney if he gets the nomination. (I disagree with her.)

She clearly wants Christie to run. There was a distinct difference in how she spoke about Christie versus Romney. She’s not a fan of Romney, but she says she’d vote for him if the race is between Obama and him.

Yea, lots of people will do that lesser of two evils thingie.

But a whole bunch of voters won't.

I'm one of them.

McCain tricked me last time, and I voted for Sarah and the old guy.

I saw a sign by Los Banos in California (rural area) by the road at a ranch that said

Don't blame me

I voted for

The hero and the hottie

LOL

Yea, it was kind of like he LOOKS like a President.

And can talk smoothly

We need a REAL President, not one who could play one on TV or in a movie.

And not that one that she wants to bribe with a sandwich...a BIG sandwich she said lol.

She's a chubby chaser.

Heh, I've posted that a few times, I'll bet she will call me on it eventually...

I’m guessing it’s too late to ping the list? Sorry, just got home from work.

Maybe it would be a good idea if I send the ping list to you and/or RonDog.

Nobody said anything about Sarah.

WHAT are you talking about - did you doze off? Ann clearly did! She was asked a question and she went on how she doesn't think she will run because she has a full life so why would she want for presidency. So, like I said - she must not think Christie nor mitt have a full life either. She failed on that one for sure - could drive a truck through it.

Ann didn’t defend Romneycare. She was clearly not in favor it.

She defended Romney with romneycare - saying because MA is a liberal state - like what would one expect. I didn't say she discussed romneycare but HIM!!!! Why is it - everything she said - you are denying it.

She clearly wants Christie to run. There was a distinct difference in how she spoke about Christie versus Romney.

I know - I heard her. Christie is her flavor for this election. In '08 it was Romney.

She’s not a fan of Romney, but she says she’d vote for him if the race is between Obama and him.

Sure she is - just not her flavor this time around.

I meant that Sarah was not the subject of my original reply to you - Romney was.

Ann didn’t defend Romney or Romneycare, IMO. Obviously, you disagree, but that doesn’t imply that I am denying anything.

No it wasn't, it was Hilliary.

Romney was backup back then too.

I'm conflicted about it. I detest Obama and cannot stand the idea of his re-election. Up until a few weeks ago, my slogan was "Anyone but Obama." But why should conservatives be held captive to the wishes of moderates and RINOs? We've held our noses and voted. Why can't the center-right do it this time? Do they really prefer Obama over a conservative?

The GOP has been put on notice by true conservatives and the Tea Party Movement.

IMO they can no longer blame the voters for not voting for their candidate if they foist another “It's his turn” old geezer on us.

If they cannot incorporate more conservative and tea party principles (most of which USED to be in their platforms) in their org they will have to take the blame when hordes of voters stay home and not vote.

And if they don't get on the ball to fight voter fraud, ACORN and the like plus the illegal alien criminal insurgent colonist vote they it's their election to lose.

Add to that the absolutely insane policy of letting anyone vote in their primaries, it's almost like they are McCaining out and giving the election to Obama again like old John did last election cycle.

They are begging for a 3 party system, with them being the third party.

Why should anyone vote for their old tired candidates if they won't get up and fight for what is right for this nation?

So if you claim you aren't denying anything - then her comment when over your head. She did defend him - saying his romneycare fit the liberal state of MA.

And Sarah seems to be the only one who has a full life - so no need for her to run. Amazing!! Ann, you failed big time!

Not me, I’m too irresponsible to have a ping list...

RonDog may take it on, I don’t know.

No problem, I got a bunch of names from the column I posted Wednesday.

I'm one, also. My vote goes for someone who is capable of and determined to bring our country back to it's roots.

I played the last GOP game in '08.

No, her comment didn't go over my head. I simply disagree with your assessment that she was defending Romney or Romneycare. As I said, it sounded to me like she was listing reasons that voters (and she) could use to justify a vote for Romney if it comes down to a choice between him and Obama.

I happen to disagree with her about the impact of Romneycare. It was the blueprint for Obamacare and Romney needs to wear it as an albatross around his neck. I don't see myself voting for Romney no matter how many justifications there might be for signing Romneycare into law in ultra-liberal MA.

In the Primaries you fight for your Candidate.

When the Primaries are over, you fight for your Nation.

Anybody but Obama.

Agreed. I’m there too.

I think there are more conservatives than moderates in the party. If we reformed our party’s primary system, we wouldn’t have to resort to a third party because we’d have the numbers to select a conservative candidate.

The problem is that most of us vote but don’t get involved in Republican Party caucuses and local party business. That’s where we have to propose changes to the party’s platform. Then we have to follow through by serving as party representatives and/or delegates to vote at the state and national levels where the platform is voted upon. If we don’t get involved, it’s our own fault if the platform doesn’t represent our values and wishes anymore. I learned that in 2008. We have to get involved; Donating money and showing up to vote on election day is no longer enough to secure a voice.

Right and there is no justification for it. It was romney being romney.

I agree with you. There is a certain desperation on the part of some so-called pundits to shoring up the GOP. They don’t seem to get it that Tea Party Conservatives will not vote for any Pubbie to keep a demrat out of office. If I voted for Romney it would be the same as voting for a demrat.

My over arcing point is this: If a RINO, libertarian or independent runs for president Onada will win another term. I will not vote for them. It is not I who must come to terms with the GOP. It is the GOP which must come to terms with me.

I do not expect Romney to survive the primary process as a viable candidate. Maybe it’s me out here in the real America who doesn’t get it. But all voting for RINOs has gotten us is a Usurping Marxist in the WH. Why would any sane and reasonably intelligent person go down that road again?

Exactly!

That is the Tea Party Movement's message to the GOP.

But the keep saying the TPM has to embrace the GOP. LOL good luck with that, same ol' same ol' in that case.

They don't get it.

But all voting for RINOs has gotten us is a Usurping Marxist in the WH. Why would any sane and reasonably intelligent person go down that road again?

Yep, that's what they don't get. Which is why I tell the naysayers about not voting for non-conservative candidates that it is not the fault of the voter but of the Grand OLD Party for not reading the TEA leaves.
