Glenn Beck: I Hate Republicans, Too
Newsmax ^ | June 29, 2011 | Newsmax

Glenn Beck is making it clear that he’s no partisan — he hates Republicans as much as he does Democrats, if not more.

In a tease for his new Web TV venture, GBTV, Beck said he dislikes members of the GOP immensely, according to Politico.

“I hate them. I think they are as much of a problem as the other side," Beck says in a new interview released just before his last show on Fox News.

In one video preview, Beck asks himself and Raj Nair, GBTV’s head correspondent, about what the average person thinks of his political leanings, and Nair agrees that the perception is that he is a Republican.

Not so, says Beck.

“I hate them. I think they are as much of a problem as the other side,” Beck says, walking alongside Nair on the streets of New York. He then invokes George Washington, saying Washington warned of the danger in political parties.

“If you speak out in today’s world, you’re either a Republican or Democrat. How about just being real?” he later says.

Someone once said that liberty always yields to tyranny. We have no choice but to go along until it completely collapses, IMO.

Depeneds on how far from your house you can set up a perimeter. If you’re too good at keeping the vermin out, but your perimeter is too close, they will just burn you out and move on. Pity the poor souls who are not rotting liberal leeches, who live in cities. They will be the first victims of the feral bands. Ever watched the program ‘Jericho’? There are interesting vignettes in that show, some of which are probably well thought out and too close to the truth.

I’m a Conservative!

The most conservative person on the ballot gets my vote, No More Rinos!

Amen. A liberal with an (R) next to their name is still a liberal. The only difference between a liberal with an (R) next to their name versus a liberal with a (D) next to their name is how fast they want to take you down the road to socialism. In the end, both are still going to try and take you down that road.

If push comes to shove, yes, the city liberals will fall prey to the feral bands.

But then the feral bands will fall prey to the National Guard. Because unless there is a widespread nuclear attack, no state governor will give away a city to the feral bands. At least I hope not.

A moral man can and should rule himself, and he should not allow himself to be ruled by immoral men, as we are now.

I agree with your statement. Unfortunately, it seems the moral, self disciplined, & self controlled are in very short supply here these days.

Just look at the NY State Republican Party and you can’t help but agree with Beck.

They are WORSE. At least with a D I know what I’m getting. A republican will just lie to your face and then vote like Dick Durbin five minutes after the results are in.

We’ll know you by your works.

Beck is spot on.

While it is true that the moral, self disciplined and self controlled are in short supply, they do exist, and they do exist within younger people as well.

It seems to me that if one considers just how large our immoral government has become, there may be a correlation between its size and the size the the masses of those people without morals, without the ability to determine right form wrong, as if one creates the other.

The insanity of our government is breeding insanity among our population in general, and this is being done on purpose I believe.

Lately I found myself becoming of the mind that government is one of the worst creations of mankind, and that belief in God is mankind’s most noble characteristics. The two cannot coexist, because one competes with the other in the minds of many, it seems, and sadly, government actually becomes God to some.

The Lord is my shepherd.

The US federal government is not.

When the Left gets power, she said, they drive everything Left; when the Right gets power, they slow the Leftward drive, perhaps even halt it for a spell; but nothing ever gets moved to the Right.

Maggie was correct. Republicans just work on the foundation that Progressives have built.

The important thing is to kick-out the few keystones of this Progressive foundation. IF YOU COULD ELIMINATE OR CHANGE ONE THING to "de-ratchet" things in the other direction, WHAT WOULD IT BE? Do Conservatives even know?

I think the country is already toast. I think certain regions are figuring this out. I think collapse of the US system of government and its courts are about four years out.

It’s so out of whack that there’s no graceful exit. Stare Decisis is one big reason. The Supreme Court has been a dismal failure as a check on the other two branches. What a mess.

I think Mark Twain would have been surprised that we got as far as we did, but I think he’d have been staggered at what its come down to right now. He saw all this coming in his day.

Yep... Those red pills are dangerous! I think you’re right about him - too much too fast and you can get LOST in the Rabbit-hole very easily! I can’t imagine being in the media helps the situation at ALL. Perhaps this summer as he prepares for his private show he’ll take some time off and debrief himself before going forward?

You know what, Mr. Lobster?

Sometimes, when a man tells you what’s really in his heart, what really drives him, and what he truly believes, he cries.

Sometimes, when I tell my Mom how much I love her, and how lucky a person like me is to have a perosn like her, I cry. Tears come from my eyes, and I can’t stop them, because I mean what I say from my very soul.

Maybe you should listen, instead of mocking him.

I do.

When he paints with a broad brush, he really sucks.

Do you do that too?

Exactly. He’s the poster boy for what is the problem with Republicans as well as Boehner as speaker.

A true conservative that believes in the Constitution and liberty as speaker would have asked for Upton’s resignation from Congress.

Personally, I’d like to shove a light bulb up his......nevermind.

I'm sorry. . this is what I don't like about Beck. . .he intentionally clouds the issue. It makes me believe he still has the demagogue in him and wants to head in the Perot-mode. We know clearly what the distinction is between the two parties. . we know clearly what conservative values are and that those values, right now, are most predominately on the Republican side. I believe right now the Democrat party is nearly a criminal, treasonous organization.

I hate Rinos because they can't see this overwhelming and dangerous reality posed by the Democrats. However, Conservatives don't just hang their hat on the Republican party. We are not that shallow, Glen. . .It is men and women of principle who uphold the Constitution of the United States.. . that's who we support. There are NONE in the Democrat party and there are SOME in the Republican party, Glen. . so shut up this crap about "THERE ALL THE SAME". . BS. . THEY ARE NOT.

Hey Glenn, good to know that your contract is running out fast. Then you'll be out on the street peddling for some change, (as in Obama chants and monetary help.)
