The Ingraham Factor

Posted on 06/30/2011 5:43:26 PM PDT by Kevin in California

Laura is so respectful of her guests as she lets them answer her questions, make their points, etc. all without interrupting them. Such a refreshing person she is.

I say take off Sheep Smith and replace him with Laura. Good idea??

When our “A Patriot’s History of the United States” first came out in 2004, Laura was one of the first big names to have me on her show. She did a great interview, was respectful, and asked relevant questions. Her show drove our book up to #37 on Amazon-—up to that point, the highest it had ever been.

The only time I watch the The Factor these days is when there’s a sub. ...especially Laura. Thanks for the heads-up.

Even better is to permanently replace O’Reilly with Laura Ingraham. Kick off Geraldo back to CNN or onto the strret.

Amen. I’ve been a huge fan of Laura since I first heard her. While we’re at it maybe she can sit in for Bill-O more often. He needs a few months off to digest all the 0bama Kool-Aide he’s been drinking for about the past year.

Kick off Geraldo back to CNN or onto the street.

Jerry Rivers needs to go back to looking for Al Capone's safe.
Leave news commentary to the professionals.

I like her but she is so monotone, she puts me in a coma.

Ingram is too smart merely to be a news reader like Shep.

Bingo. Fox needs to shed its dead wood. BOR first. Send him back to Entertainment Tonight.

Laura is the one talk show host who has conducted herself in such manner that she really could run for national office and hope to win. She’s not the best host because some bombast is usually required, but she has the gravitas and the bearing of a for-real candidate. If she ever does run, I pray she takes Michelle Malkin as her running mate!

Franly I’d see the show split between Laura and Juan. Liberal that he is Juan runs a good show.Gives guests a chance to make their point and doesn’t play the know it all.Laura does the same and holds better positions.

I'm a fan of Ingraham as well. But those people who think she could replace O’Reilly are smoking something. O’Reilly’s ratings are huge and like it or not he's the star of that network, at least in prime time. For me, well I'd also prefer Ingraham because O’Reilly is so full of himself. But you simply don't replace a guy who is currently doing that well.

Shepard Smith is a dope and she could easily replace him but I think Fox needs a few liberals if for no other reason to have liberal people to beat up on. Smith serves the purpose. If you have all conservatives you become the polar opposite of the horrific MSNBC.

Shep Smith could be replaced by any number of the news readers Fox now employs. Laura Ingraham is too experienced and well known to do a straight news show. As much as I agree with the idea, Laura will not replace Bill O’Reilly - because he has great ratings. However, with Glenn Beck leaving Fox, they have a one-hour opening at 5 P.M. and are looking for a replacement for Beck, someone that they can get advertisers to buy into. I think Laura Ingraham would fit right into that slot and even hold Beck’s high ratings. It’s a great idea - but I’ll believe it when I see it happen.

I would rather Laura was permanently siting in the factor’s seat, replacing that outrageously rude and pompous Bill O’Reilly.

You must be watching a different Laura. The one I am watching is every bit as rude, obnoxious, and interrupting as O’Reilly.

I guess I’m getting really picky in my old age. The only two talk show hosts that I listen to are Laura and Dennis Prager.
