Picture looks a lot like Big Sis.
Valedictorians at various high schools can’t either.
It’s a policy, not a law made by Congress.
And so the Administration wishes that servicemen and women be buried without prayers for their salvation. AKA, assisting their damnation.
Rev. Wright, anyone?
Pray for her.
If the family members or the Memorial Ladies conduct a prayer service over the gravesite, will federal agents be lurking nearby to tackle and arrest them?
And what about Arlington National Cemetery? Military funerals begin at the Fort Myer Old Post Chapel and end at the gravesite, with prayers and Godspeed at the latter. Will the Old Guard soldier detail be instructed to say, “We’re sorry, Ma’am, but you can’t say that prayer. A Federal judge has ruled against it.”
Disgusting.
1) This is a violation of free speech
2) this is a violation of free religion
I guess if there was some concern about this being disruptive or putting people in danger, I could see the point.
But this looks like it’s about political correctness and partisan grandstanding.

I just called and was told ANYONE including a Priest, Minister, Rabbi, etc can say whatever they’d like and whatever the family requests including the mention of God, Jesus, Catholic, Christian, etc.
I asked who was suing who and she clammed up saying because of the suit she had no comment. But the bottom line is she said NOTHING of a religious nature is prohibited at the cemetery if the family requests it be said.
This is the Progressive takeover at work. They are attacking our society at every level. People need to be burning up the phone lines to the Congressment and Senators.
What screw-up liberal bureaucrat made this autocratic decision and why? That person or committee needs to be fired and replaced. Obviously trying to slip one by hoping that nobody would notice. Sorry, you got caught and now you should be fired.
This is wrong.
Now, before you bring out the pitchforks, let me explain. God has been increasingly forced out of public life and sometimes the best thing to do with an unruly child (liberals) is to give them a double dose of exactly what they think they want.
They want gays in the service? Give it to them, then remind them of it when they start seeing increased casualties.
They want God out of the Service? Give it to them, then make sure to let the families of those who didn't survive know why a Chaplain can't comfort them any longer.
Those troops getting ready to go into battle? No chaplain to help deal with the stress, that's the State's job now.
Those troops who survived an ambush while watching their friends die? No Chaplain to comfort them, the State is their comfort now.
Those who can't handle it and commit suicide? Let the State deal with the family, God's been put out to pasture by the State.
Change the saying from "God, Corps and Country" to "Corps and Country".
In short, if America wants to be Godless so bad that they do this, they better not complain when God reminds them in ways only He can of who's world this is. America called the tune, now it's time to start paying the piper.
And before someone tries to say "But I didn't vote for BHO!!!", you may not have, but millions more did.
So strange that this is happening under an administration who repurposed NASA for “Muslim Outreach.”
Purely coincidental, I’m sure. /s
That’s Janet Incompetano’s twin bulldog.

You disobey the unconstitutional law. Period.
Obama is trying to completely demolish the Constitution (and is doing it), while that piece of crap Crybaby Sissyman Boehner plays golf with him.
Recently, when people who were told not to say God or prayers at graduation ceremonies and then did it anyway, they found out nothing happened. They found out that they could say whatever they pleased!
I would suggest that anyone who wants to fly the flag, say prayers, or God and Christ, just do so. Let them try and stop us.
Just because someone says certain language is banned doesn’t make it so. Rather than whine about it, just speak louder. Cowards will back down when challenged.
>>but frankly I think this is a good thing.<<
Your statement is idiotic. And yes, I read the whole thing.
You say it’s a good thing that Veterans who fought for the Constitution are deprived of it, them and their families.
Sorry, you are just plain wrong, no matter how much of an axe to grind against America.
Gee, she forgot to ban the word “Allah”.
Hey, Arleen...Yuck Fou!
