My thought is that this is an INTENDED consequence of the repeal of DADT.

I agree 100%. I would go out of my way to force the issue and see what they do about it. Are they going to ban military funerals? Why does the military have a Chaplain's service if they aren't allowed to mention God?

Apparently it is. Remember the White House made a big deal explaining that they went through the trouble of burying OSAMA BIN LADEN according to ISLAMIC practices.
