Failure to avert this crisis would have dire consequences, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, a Nevada Democrat, said on the Senate floor today. It would result in the most serious financial crisis this country has ever faced. Anyone with half a brain could see this "crisis" coming 15 years ago. So what's Harry been doing about it?

Breaks my heart...NOT. Too many government employees anyway. Time for them to sacrifice for the greater good.

They should start with every federal job holder that's been hired since Obama got elected.

Well, when you “idle” 800,000 government drones there's less likelihood of them getting into mischief and causing the rest of the American population heartburn over the regulations they think of or try to enforce.
Idea. Collect the 800,000 drones and send them to Gitmo (in batches so as not to strain the facilities) to serve the Jihadists there. When the Jihadists run short of drones, send them some more of the “idle” 800,000 workers.

You could get rid of a hell of a lot more than 800,000 gub mint workers (leaches), and no one would notice their worthless asses are missing or their worthless jovs have been left undone.
SHUT this oversized gub mint down.

So will the next uptick in the unemployment numbers again be “unexpected”?

To borrow the punchline from the lawyers at the bottom of the ocean joke....A good start.
