A witness says he saw a group of teen boys tie two dogs to railroad tracks in Haltom City moments before a train ran over the animals Tuesday morning.
The witness told police he was in a wooded area near the First Baptist Chruch of Fort Worth on the 5100 block of Northeast Loop 820 when he saw the boys.
Cpl. Joe Heckfield, with the Haltom City Police Department, said investigators believe the dogs were already dead when they were hit by the train. Heckfield didn't elaborate as to what led police to that conclusion.
Officials said when officers arrived, the teens had already left the area. They are currently working to identify the witness and determine how many teens were involved.
Investigators are also trying to find out if the dogs were strays or if they had owners who may be searching for a missing animal.
Sounds like you could use some anger management yourself. If you can’t conduct civil discourse here, why not join ranks with our opponents. You’d fit in better.
Any member of PETA is the opponent and any person that repeats their lies. And if I starting telling you what I think of the national humane association your computer will melt.
My suspicions, as well.
A guy in nearby WV tied his wife’s dog’s head to the train tracks to ‘get back at her’ after an argument.
[he’d already beaten her cat to death]
The train came and sheared off the entire lower jaw of the dog.
It did not die instantly.
It suffered for *hours* before somebody found it and took it to the vet.
They could not save it.
Because of that dog, WV now has an automatic felony charge for animal abuse.
The guy who did it was the first person convicted of the felony charges.
He’d also had priors for wife beating.
Go figure.
Whenever somebody posts an article about human cruelty to animals, and there are responses like mine, yahoos come out of the woodwork to insinuate that being ticked off at the people who commit acts like this in some way indicates a judgement that people are worth less than animals.
I was actually pleasantly surprised that it took some time for a response like this to materialize.
People who are cruel to animals and children and women are expendable commodities in my book. These traits are often linked together and contaminate the gene pool.
That is my opinion, in my “twisted world” and I don’t give a rat’s behind what you or other individuals of your ilk think about it.
Have a GREAT day.
