The Latest From Obamacare: Send Government Spies To The Doctors Office

In order to figure out why it's so hard to get a doctor's appointment, or even obtain a primary care doctor in the first place, the Health and Human Services Department proposed to send "mystery shoppers" into doctor's office.
This notice -- via ABC's Jake Tapper -- was posted by the HHS back in April, and basically it's exactly what you'd expect from such a plan: send mystery shoppers into various offices posing as either insured or uninsured patients, who would then report back on the process of seeing a physician.
Naturally the AMA is angry at the intrusion:
“We know there is a physician shortage in this country that will only grow worse as more people enter Medicare and coverage is expanded to those currently uninsured. The government should be working to address this shortage so all patients can have access to the health care they need, rather than using mystery shoppers to tell us what we already know.”

This dumbass doesn't realize yet that this Obama spying on doctor business isn't to verify there is a doctor shortage but to use doctors as whipping boys, to vilify them by portraying them as cruel and inhumane for turning away people with no money or insurance.

Marxist have always had a special place in their hate for doctors. I recall a great scene from Dr. Zhivago when he comes home. Soviets hate titles. Stalin even went after them with The Doctors Plot. Of course they just weren’t any kind of doctors. They were Joooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooos.

Exactly. So when patients complain under Obamacare--which they most certainly will--the governemtn bureaucrats can point and say, "it's not the fault of Obamacare, it's the fault of these evil doctors!"
I think our State Legislatures need to start drafting legislation that makes Impersonating a Patient a felony.

What a huge DUH this is.WE already knew there was a primarycre shortage then add in the numbers that are retiring because of Obamacare.Wonder how much us taxpayers are forking out for this stupid program?If doctor’s offices are already full they can’t take on more patients...DUH!
