(CNN) -- Prosecutors dismissed a charge Monday against a community activist who was arrested while filming a police encounter with her iPod camera because she was concerned it was initiated by racial profiling.
"I'm feeling vindicated, I'm feeling energetic" Emily Good, 28, of Rochester, New York, said of the decision to have the charge dropped. Good had been charged with obstruction of governmental administration when she began videotaping the interrogation of a black man by three white officers in front of her house on May 12, she said.
"Based upon the evidence, we could not make out the elements of the crime charged," Monroe County First Assistant District Attorney Sandra Doorley said.
Good said she intends to file a civil suit.

I love the US constitition. It is indeed one of the best documents that could ever have been written by the hand of man.
However, the Supreme court does recognize that the rights contained therein are not absolute. You cannot shout, ‘Fire’ in a movie theatre under the guise of free speech, and as one judge noted, the constitution is not so absolute a document that it functions as a suicide document.
If this ever went to court, you will probably find that it was within a cop’s ability to ask her to back up so he can affect an arrestm even if she was filming on her property.

Amazing, isn’t it, the rationalizing some people use in their rants against people who have view of events different from their own? Makes me wonder whether any of these people would be willing to trade places for just one day with those who protect and serve!

If this goes to court, it will be before a jury of citizens who will probably more inclined to put themselves in the place of the property owner. I doubt that many will sympathize with a police officer who, in the company of several other officers, felt so threatened by a woman on her own property who clearly was not a danger to him that he felt justified in ordering her into her home. Folks are starting to see the police as tools of Big Government, and they feel pushed around by Big Government. I wouldn't be so sure about the outcome.
An innocent cop cannot be entrapped.

Clearly you have not figured it out. Either the cop does something wrong or he does not. No one can videotape a cop doing something wrong if the cop does nothing wrong.
