Yeah, my criteria for supporting a candidate includes having a brain and using it. That means not calling North Korea our ally or pretending to be from Iowa when you clearly aren't. Or saying positive things about a gay serial killer.

I am not a leftist who worships a politician like a cult figure.

I will vote for a competent candidate. Herman Cain looks to be the best just because he doesn't seem like a complete moron.

Only a complete fool would write off a potential presidential candidate simply because of a single gaffe, ignoring every other word that person has ever uttered or written, in their entire career (not to mention their deeds while in office).

To err is human. In time, even your chosen candidate, Herman Cain, will make a gaffe in public. They all do. When he does, I guess you'll write him off, too.
