First lesson of campaigning:

1) Don't shoot yourself in the foot.

2) If you insist on shooting yourself in the foot, for heaven's sake, DON'T RELOAD.

3) If you MUST reload, then for God's sake, DON'T put your foot in your mouth before firing.

4) If you already HAVE fired, don't blame Chris Wallace or The Daily Show. Have the grace to off yourself in some place where you will not cause mess and inconvenience to others.

H'mmm, Waterloo, Iowa; and on the day before the Bamster and Sarah Palin arrive, too.

Maybe she did OK on that point 4 after all.
