“I wonder if the American public decided not to fly.”

Every flight I’ve been on in the last couple years have been overbooked. Gone are the days of getting three seats to yourself.

IF people became outraged enough, AND there were empty seats, THEN things will change. But I don’t see that happening.

If I get a call on Weds to visit a client, I’m there by Thu or Fri. If I said I was takin gthe train and I’d be there Tuesday, they’d hire someone else who’d be there Thu.

Business exception understood. The reason planes are booked out is because of fewer planes. The airlines would rather park planes that fly them half full. It’s not cost effective to do that.
