My instinct is that one will back the other. I take Sarah first in large part because we cannot allow the media to dictate our candidate. But, I wonder what the “Sarah and only Sarah crowd” will think if she backs Perry.

There is a very real chance Palin won’t run. It appears to me that Bachmann, Cain and Santorum are the real conservatives in the race. I think we could support any of them in good conscience. If Perry ends up winning the nomination, and Palin supports him and he selects a conservative as his VP, then I would give him serious consideration. If Romney is the nominee, I would say no to compromise and look to vote for an alternative party candidate, such as the Conservative Party.
