I befriended a Mormon missionary decades ago and read the books
****
That is a good one because only one book would have been given to you at the time....:)
Well, begging your pardon but what are the “Doctrine And Covenants” and the “Pearl Of Great Price,” then, if not books? I still have them, you know.
I’m something of a bibliophile, can’t bear to get rid of books, even ones I don’t particularly care for. Still have the “Bhagavad Ghita,” too. That was handed to me back in my wilder days, at a welcome center in California. Very nice, hardcover and thick, several sections of color plates.

How woulod you know Resty ???
Ther mormon missionary who was stalking my bosses in 1968 gave them all ki9nds of material...books (”the mormon quad”) pamplets, illistrations, the works...
Over several weeks she worked her head off tryi8ng to win their money err “hearts” to the mormon CEOs err lord...
But then they were extremely rich and had a lot of land and lafter all isnt that what mormonism is all about
acquiring riches and real estate...
They kept resisting the mormon mission president kept sending more and more revealing info
I bet that since you were prostylated also in the 1960s, that I knew more about mormonism from reading that material and talking to my boss in one afternoon than you even know now...
There has not been a lot of new items on mormonism that i have learnt in these threads in the last few years..
The mnormons are still as greedy for filthy lucre and the basic idea is still Joey Smith and his little dog stone err peep stone and pay lots of protection money because we own “god”
