Seems like the working poor and lower middle class are being left out of this year's recovery summer.

Seems like you could cut regulation and the free trade nonsense and companies would build it themselves.

“Obama Pledges $500 Million To Reinvent U.S. Manufacturing”

Stupidity is doing the same thing and expecting different results.

Obama’s government is so smart that a mere $500 MM will reinvent and reinvigorate the manufacturing economy. What hubris!

Every day, in every way, our government comes up with new and ever more imaginative ways to waste money.

What’s with this “partnership” thingy?

Any time the gubmint is a partner, it controls. It regulates. It redirects efforts to its own aim.

AMP is destined to be a waste of money achieving only gubmint ends with little private benefit.

did Barky announce his brilliant plan before or after he blamed ATM machines and ticket kiosks for high unemployment?

$500 million to reinvent U.S. manufacturing. $8.5 billion to ACORN. I’m glad that we have our priorities straight.

If he’ll give me a million I’ll see what I can do to help. I’ll even throw in some promises.

Great, if manufacturing didn't have enough problems competing against Chinese slave labor, now the Government of Obama is here to help. $500,000,000 = 20 new union jobs in Michigan and Ohio.

Here's what happened the last time manufacturing was re-invented by government:

The “American Century” to which Zero refers owed much to inexpensive, domestic energy. Without that ingredient we’re just treading water.

Reinvent manufacturing?

Unification of govt and business?

What a brilliant idea.

Why didn't somebody think of this before?

What are we going to call this “NEW” idea of unification of govt and business?

Oh! I’ve got an idea for a really catchy name that I bet will catch on.

Let's call it National Socialism, Nazism, or just Nazi for short.

Yeaaaaaaaa!

He sure seems to be introducing a lot of crap lately for optics. Someone needs to step up and tell him to tighten his belt and stop being so thrifty with the people’s money.
