Police Blotter: Woman Reports Assault

The following information was gathered from the public safety departments of the Grosse Pointes. Arrests do not indicate conviction.

A 57-year-old Grosse Pointe Farms woman reported being assaulted by a man she previously had sex with after he returned to her house on another day asking to have sex again.

The woman reported the assault June 21 about 11:40 p.m., about half an hour after her husband found out about the assault. Detectives took pictures of the woman's arms, chest, legs and back.

The assault happened days earlier. The woman told police she had sex with the man while he was doing work at her house and he returned several days later requesting to have sex again but she declined and he assaulted her.

The woman did not have the name of the man or much identifying information for police, according to a report.

If I were hubby, I wouldn’t touch her until she was checked for STDs.

Were I her husband there would no longer be a marriage, let alone any marital interactions.

I have to admit, I have never watched the Playboy Channel, nor do I know that much about swinging, but I know enough to keep me away from either one. (And cheating)!

If I were hubby, I wouldn’t touch her until she was checked for STDs.

There. Fixed it.

If she has no sense of who she sleeps with, I'd advise him to never touch her again,

Ewww, indeed. That's naaaaasty.

Actually, her exact words were: "You've slept with one Maytag repairman, you've slept with them all! How do you expect me to tell them apart?"

Regards,

...leaving him on life support with second-degree burns,...

Sorry, can't buy it. Unless those second-degree burns were directly in his lungs, second-degree burns aren't going to put him on life support.

“Sorry, can’t buy it. Unless those second-degree burns were directly in his lungs, second-degree burns aren’t going to put him on life support.”

While I haven’t read the story, I beg to differ. My background is in medicine, and I can attest that second degree burns can put you on life support. You can die from a few min exposure in a too hot, hot tub (135º-145º), you can go into shock even faster. If he had a pot of scalding/boiling water (200º+) thrown on him, he could have gone into shock, had a heart attack, or gotten heat stroke. Humans are subject to heat extremes just like food, and you can cook food(albeit not well), at temperatures far below 212º.

People can and do die from both excessive heat, and pain. Just something to consider.

“Considering the VAST majority of Domestic Violence is committed by women, and considering the police would have been all over the husband anyway (that’s the way it’s done), there is no reason to come to the conclusion that the husband did anything.”

Wrong.

Maybe it was committed by a woman in the one case you know about, but beating up your partner is definitely a male dominated pursuit.

Place Vendome Paris.
Home to The Ritz, The Intercontinental, Cartier, Bulgari and in middle the of the square is a spire made from 100 cannons that were captured when Napolean conquered Egypt.
On top of the spire is a statue of . . . Napoleon.

So the name is emblematic of a lifestyle I lead.

Sorry you’ve fallen for a liberal lie. The VAST majority of domestic violence is committed by women, as well as child abuse. There is study after study to confirm it. As a matter of fact 2/3’s of women in “battered” women’s shelter admit they lied to get the free support. The founder/inventor of women’s shelters also said she regretted ever creating them, because they have just become a tool for women to leave their spouses easily and get free stuff (to paraphrase).

You either have no idea what you’re talking about, or are pushing the feminists agenda. In either event, I don’t need to hash this out with you, just like global warming, and other liberal religions, the women and children line has gotten old and tired, and has no basis in fact.

And by the way, if someone is arrested by police after an “assault” they are not considered injured in a domestic violence case. Yet, half of the cases in according to the DOJ’s statistics have males as the victims. Meaning, that despite all of the liberal shop talk of male being the “abusers” and that the vast majority of incarcerated in a domestic dispute are males (and don’t get counted), still they somehow make up half of the victim’s injuries. Educate yourself. If one partner is injured, 2/3 of the time, it’s a male injured, by the hand of a female, who are also, 4x more likely to use a weapon to compensate for their natural lack of strength. Defenseless, I think not.
