Well provide more information when it becomes available but the Undefeated, a movie about Governor Palins political career, will debut this Tuesday at the Pella Opera House in Pella, Iowa at 5 PM CST. Its unknown whether the Governor herself will make an appearance at the Undefeateds debut.

But why Iowa? That's odd. Everybody just KNOWS she isn't running, especially with Perry making noise. Maybe she didn't get the memo? Or was it an email ...

It has been interesting to watch and wait, that’s for sure. I think the fact that it is premiering in Iowa is a strong signal to the pack that she is running, or most accurately, still considering it (though there is a tipping point).
(I think that in the end if she doesn’t, then, wow, she is going to have a lot of explaining to do).

some of the comments at the website that posted that story are pretty good, ie, people that have seen rough cuts in other areas and venues. thanks for posting....

I know, I can’t wait for this, have much higher hopes than for the Atlas Shrugged movie.

Small venue. No mention of invitations or ticket procedure?

Yep, I heard it was only 1000 seats. Trying to find out about tickets now ... though I’m imagining it might’ve been an invitation only setup. I got invited to the New York rough-cut showing, but alas, New York is a world away for me. I’d have a much better shot at getting to Pella. I’ll post what I find out ...

If any Freepers are able to attend I suggest a 1 block side trip, prior to the showing, to double your nirvana. Head to the
Jaarsma Bakery, 727 Franklin Street (the Opera House is 611) and pick up some of their out of this world class "Dutch letters." They close at 6 so you won't be able to get them after the showing. It's the one thing that makes me glad I won't be able to attend
this showing. I can no more resist them than Obama can resist taxing and spending and my caloric budget is already as over budget as his fiscal one.

I learned to love Dutch letters as an occasional treat visiting my Iowa Grandma and Pella was her source. They're the best I've found. Their 'look' is also auspicious!
And the coincidence that they share Pres. Reagan's nickname could be be used to further tweak the MSM. But mostly, they would be properly loved by Trygg, Tripp and Piper and leave them with fond memories of small town Iowa.
