Yet another (apparently) libertarian columnist who seems incapable of writing a column on a completely different subject without the obligatory attack on George W. Bush. Compared to the track record of our current president, I'm not ready to declare the Bush presidency "disastrous." The two most common complaints against Bush are the economy and the Iraq War. I call the Iraq War a success, based on the fact that Iraq is on its way towards being the only stable Islamic Democracy in the ME, and I believe that Saddam Hussein would certainly have developed nuclear weapons by now. I concede that the economy took a hit in the final year of the Bush presidency, but I blame the Democratic Congress as much as the president. And the policies of the current administration have exacerbated the problem.
After the disastrous Bush years, the country does not want another Texas Republican in the White House
After the disastrous Obama years, the country does not want another Black Democrat from Chicago in the White House.
Strange how you’re allowed to say one but not the other...
Well said, the cheap shots at W have grown quite monotonous.
