I do have to admit I sometimes wonder how NY and TX can be of the same country too....

My solution would be for TX to secede. We’ll be fine and NY can drill their own oil and natural gas. Have fun with all that funny money you guys love to print NY.

Oh, and you can have all of our murdering simpletons too NY, since you love them so.

This is why our country was intended to be made up of a union of sovereign states with a federal government handling dealings with external entities and with genuine disputes between states ONLY.

Don’t like two Ken dolls on a wedding cake? Move out of Ny and into Tx.
Don’t want to execute murderers? Leave Texas, NY welcomes you.

But no! Leftists MUST have everyone conform to THEIR worldview, and will use force to keep you from escaping.

Instead of running for president of the failed USA, Perry should be investigating the documents annexing Texas in 1845 to see if any loopholes can be found that would free us from the coming financial fate of this country.

Texas has everything but chocolate, coffee and tea. We could trade our natural gas, oil, and super-abundance of agricultural products for those little items.

What a great day when we would no longer have to bear the shame of being yoked with the ungodly of both coasts, who are calling down the judgment of God upon our land.

That suits me just fine. I'm damned tired of liberals and their "feelings." Liberal states would implode without conservative states. Conservative states would excel faster and farther without liberal states.

I rather like your solution— IF Texas were to follow your advice I would hope they would allow old men born in Colorado to join them. Problem with New York is their argument fails
people in every State can love whoever they want. But as with most things the Government gets its hands on -Marriage “ has suffered under Govt. oversight. Shudder to think of the bankruptcy that would occur should Obummer-Soetoro and the New York politicians get to decide how “marriage must now be defined. Not mere financial bankruptcy from those who choose their lifestyle/Orientation —but Moral bankruptcy as well.
