Peshawar, 22 June 2011, Peshawar police killed 5 Militants in encounter at Sarband area nearby to Khyber agency. These terrorist are involved in attack on police check post. According to S.P city Imtiaz Ali shah these terrorist also along with 60 people attack last night at 12.15 am at police check post.

S.P city talking with media in Police line Peshawar. He said that 2 groups of terrorist from Khyber agency want to enter in Peshawar city in night, but our brave police stop them in Sarband area. He said that encounter between police and terrorist was continuing more then 40 minute. Terrorist used heavy machine gun and weapon to destroyed police check post.

S.P city Imtiaz Ali shah said police killed 5 militants and more then 60 militants escape after encounter. But police start search operation in the area to detain those who attack on police check post.

After the briefing S.P city Imtiaz Ali shah show the dead bodies of 5 persons whose killed in encounter. Police also show the weapon and Bomb which recover from them.

S.P city confirmed that they don’t know about the people from where they are, because no I’d card we recovered from them nor we have any criminal record.

Its remind that CCPO (chief capital police officer) Liaqat Ali Khan called journalist for emergency press conference to talk the media about attack, but CCPO escaped from press conference and didn’t face the media. Imtiaz Ali shah is lower cadre police officer and he briefed the media in Peshawar press club.
