"had a noncompete clause in its contracts "

A contract has to have a detriment & benefit for both parties.

Does that mean that Netroot booked all rooms and the convention center for the rest of the Summer?

If not, I only see a detriment for the hotels & convention center. Their business plan is to book everything possible.

Two polar opposites are in competition? For what?

the group had a noncompete clause in its contracts with the Rhode Island Convention Center and two Providence hotels.

Big whoop. There are at least 10 major hotels in Providence. So the RightOnline will just have to deal with 8 of the others. Nice try Commie Pinkos. You don't have the control you wish you had.

No competition.

That should be perfect for the Left.

They have been striving for no competition for years.
