...it would expire in a year.

Outrageous! Days not weeks become months not years becomes a year, not years.

It’s amazing to realize that it’s actually possible for me to feel more disgust for John McCain that I already did.

Thank God a solid Reagan Conservative like McLame beat that RINO leftist JD Hayworth. Who know what dangerous, poorly thought out policies JD would be pushing now if he won?

McLoser shows his true colors. Picture Romney doing the same thing.

If only being part of the Keating Five had taken down McLame - we would have been rid of this loser more than 20 years ago.

Mccain joins forces with a guy who would be screaming to high Heaven if a republican was president. He is such an old fool.

McKennedy is slime.

He is smegma.

He is scum.

Gads, if he keeps going down like this, pretty soon he’ll reach Kerry levels of stench.

Methinks he’d do best for the country if he volunteered to sit inside a tank being used for A-10 target practice.

Resolution? Senate can replace the US Congress and declare war by resolution? What next, the Senate does the budget to pay for it?

BTW, here is video from 2009 of McCain and his valet, Grahamnesty, bowing their heads to Qadaffi, as taught to Juan by his NVA friends

and dingbat Susan Collins, in power pink, first ignored by Qadaffi as if she was some ugly translator.... then angling in later to get her chance to drop that Libyan drag queen a curtsey.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNfztA1i0ts

This was one week before the Lockerbie bomber was released to return to adulation in Tripoli. Real sharp negotiators those three amigos, eh?

Thes epeople are shameless.

Are they saying that Obama does not currently have authority and is in violation of the law?

Or are they trying to say he doesn’t need permission but they are willing to give it anyhow.

That's what we need. A rubber-stamp Congress.

They should run on that.

. . which would grant Mr. Obama “limited” authorization to continue using force.

Oh, editor.

You left out an important word.

Deadly force.

Just so everyone knows.

So much for “days, not weeks”.

It is indeed a bizzaro world we live in. I would have never thought the POW and the traitor would have anything in common.

Why must the RINOs join the DNC (”al Qaeda in America”?)
to help “al Qaeda in Libya”?

And why must US taxpayers pay for this treason?

this limited use of American forces for a limited duration — it would expire in a year.

Guess that puts the lie to the fib being told over the last couple of weeks...that Ghaddafi's fall was "imminent".

Wait a minute?

Is Obama asking for this legislation? No he is not. Then why are these two jerks offering to “authorize” something that Mr. Obama has not sought their legislative consent and authorization for?

If it was to “legalize” what we are doing then (1) Mr. Obama would asking for their legislative consent and authorization for our actions in Libya and (2) these two Senators would be demanding that Mr. Obama stop our actions in Libya if their legislation is not approved. Neither of which is true in this case.

As legislators it makes no sense. It’s pure agitprop. It’s purely political and purely to provide political, not legal cover for what we are doing in Libya.

As usual, McCain is operating to achieve appearances, not substance.

McCain, you make me proud I did not vote for your sorry ass. I think we need to pass a special tax to pay for this war, anyone that owns a motor yacht over thirty feet and more than two home will pay the cost.
